Just now finding out about this wnb arcade/tournament series. Wish I could go today. I'll be there next week though. You can actually sometimes bypass that network problem if you have someone else host. Or at least it worked for me in Halo back when me and my friends used to play on XBL. Not 100% sure if it will work on BB, but hopefully it would since it sounds like the same problem I had.

Yes GG's all around. Always great playing you guys. Also, next time I'll definitely be running a regular bracket instead if we get another good crowd for our next WNB. :x

Oh yeah, I talked to James today and he said he forgot to put BB on the WNB poster, it's still running of course. Just thought I'd clear it up in case anyone saw the ad. See you guys tonight.

Yeah good games Eric / Dominique. Really enjoyed the long set of matches we had. Definitely one of the more enjoyable WNB's in terms of BB.

Persona isn't played in NC, though people do sometimes have a casuals setup for it at tournaments. :V We have a few events. Rockem Sockem (aka ReSe / located in Charlotte /monthly), Carolina Clash (aka CC / in Raleigh / monthly), Wednesday Night Brawl (aka WNB / in Raleigh / weekly.... or bi-weekly for Blazblue/anime games), and KDP (located in Fayetteville / twice a year or so). I think last time we started around 6 or 7pm. It'll probably be a safe bet to show up around then, unless Stephen posts up a different time. Also, a few of us (me, Sam, and Aaron) are planning to meet up at NC State at 4:00, before leaving for Stephen's. If you wanna hang out, I can text you whenever I know where exactly at NC State we'll be meeting at.

This was all done on purpose.... This game is mostly aimed at newer players who are picking up Tekken for the first time. Namco basically has it set up so there is a tournament / offline version of the game (TTT2) and have a silly fun netplay version of the game that everyone can play (TR). This is why they added RPG mechanics and made the game online-only. For the time being, Namco isn't trying to make this into a tournament game. And when they finally do (when they add the offline patch), we won't be playing with RPG stats in tournaments obviously. Overall though, this game is pretty good at it's core. Take away the RPG elements and there's nothing wrong with it. This game might be easier..... but it's a lot more balanced (and consistent) than TTT2.

Just posting up to remind you guys to come out to play some games at Crosell's this Saturday. Hope to see a lot of you guys there.

Well they've definitely added some new animations on attacks (like blurring might represent crush attacks perhaps)? I won't get too excited over it, but I really want them to finally go back to a faster paced-Tekken like Tekken 5DR. And perhaps design the game closer to how DR was played as well.

But you should come hang out with us at Crossel's on the 15th instead though. Probably a bigger turnout too since it's a Saturday.

Good games and thanks to everyone who came out to CC today, Dale, Dominiq, Stephen and others. Some really tight time restraints, but we somehow got through everything pretty smoothly. Definitely had a good time. Can't wait for next time, which will probably be in Fayetteville.

wow, didn't know they nerfed 3C (even more. lol), the move already didn't have that much going for it in Extend. Also I think I remember hearing that 6A actually is better in CP (doesn't trade on hit)? Did you notice a difference in it?

I see now. That makes sense. Never knew that was the reason that 6C was used that much more in CP (besides shooting star).
