  1. >>2015 Eh, guess I'll double dip as per usual, can't say I'm surprised but this is a welcomed development.
  2. Glad to see they are still supporting the game, hopefully this means a NSoC port [either an update or another game file] is still in the cards. I wonder if they'll add in SG Hikaru
  3. Play Asia is alright, I think there are better importers [myself preferring AmiAmi or Nippon Yasan] but there is a digital version which has been confirmed alongside retail but at a significant price difference [5.8k yen as opposed to 6,264 yen, plus factor in no additional shipping cost!]. Personally, since there's no special edition or extra goodies, I'll happily settle for just digital on this game [especially on the off, but likely chance, we may get a domestic release down the ways]
  4. The way I see it [assuming he is like Order Sol] just inputting the command will have him whip out a leg of mutton and take a quick chomp before putting it back, holding the command will make him continue munching, I assume that as his gauge fills from the held input the meat will slowly disappear and continuing to hold on a full charge will just have him comically gnawing on the bone, and cancelling the raw charge will have him yell something like "Osu!!" or "Yatta~!" and the shout will knock the opponent back. #nowtowaitforgunblitz
  5. If this intel is true, then it sounds like Sin might be the Order Sol successor I was hoping him to be, long as his "eating" is a quick burst and comes with the ability to actively "eat" and cancel raw "eating" into a blow back attack, I can deal with this. Though Sin is already a big enough joke without going the extra mile to make him goofier.
  6. It's not anyone's default stage, you have to choose if through stage select. But yeah, plenty of the more recent vids have used it.
  7. What about the Arena [which seems to be located off the coast of Spain/France]?
  8. As much as I appreciate more Additional Gain footage...not gonna lie...you broke my heart that there wasn't any news on a console port/new game (/.\)
  9. Too early to say [especially since the patch altered her from arcade] but she wasn't exactly dominating in the arcades, what exactly looked broken? o.o I think she is a blast to play, but that depends on how much you like Kasumi, since she is an EX version of her. If you like execution barriers, she might be your jam. Honestly I wanted her for the teleports and cloaks :x Also, Tecoei has done so much right with how they've handled DoA5 by way of community that I don't feel any remorse buying the extra characters [had no intention of play Marie and hate Tenga, but I have bought and will buy both of them]
  10. Apa is a lot of fun so far, might be too advance for me, but I'm going to start working really hard on her and this game again~ #giveapamorehoodiecostumesdammit
  11. Fleshed out translation of Famitsu interview by way of Eventhubs
  12. Hmm, I see . . . I guess I shall try experimenting with that as well . . . Think that is all the Qs I have right now, thanks for the As.
  13. Stability?
  14. Hmm, guess I'll go experiment with those in a bit . . . Also how am I supposed to be using 6A?
  15. Wait, is j.A that legit? I mainly use j.B [for air-to-air] or j.C [for air-to-ground] in y Homing approach. Also people said 3B was made faster and more viable as an anti-air, but it seems just as borderline worthless as it was before .v.
  16. They're straight up [Melty Blood: Actress Again] Moons; replacing your entire moveset [maybe even other subtle nuances like how you interact with certain background objects]. They annoying thing [for the dev team] is essentially balancing the same character 3 times, because first you give them a complete moveset, then you hack that into thirds, then you have to figure out which combination allows the character to stay as viable as possible without being blatantly busted. I wonder if in future patches will they keep all the sets as is or will we see a bit of shuffling inbetween? [Though with their obsession for making each Moon particularly themed, the latter is unlikely]
  17. >>PS3 ver will be at 720p but otherwise comparable to the arcade version. All is fine with the world.
  18. It should start here shortly.
  19. Clearly Tecoei was using all the willpower they could muster to avoid calling her Tenga She and Phase 4 are coming to consoles later this month, if they're separate downloads not sure I'll buy Tenga
  20. Ok, so after sitting down and watching it, game actually looks legit fun, the game's speed is just fine [it looks pretty brisk to me] only really problem is clunky animation due to actual poverty models, since I doubt this game has that great a budget that probably isn't going to change, but that's fine. Other than that just seems like a typical fighter at this point; no air dashes and most likely no air block, chip damage and possibly chip death, meter reset between rounds [sadface]. The one interesting aspect is in how Support characters are handled, they seem to have no cool down at all unlike in other games of the type, instead they are solely meter dependent, but your secondary gauge does have moments where it is greyed out and it appears you can't use anything that consumes it [including Support]. Honestly the switching between rounds could add a great layer of meta, especially if this becomes a matchup heavy game, and this takes off the pressure of forcing you to learn multiple characters if you don't want to. Tag systems are fun but generally, if it's elimination, you're pretty much going to stick to a character until they're KO'd, it's sudden death then it boils down to a game of finding/abusing switches and often only switching for vitality reasons and less often for strategic ones. Ougen is still my favorite tag system for making switching completely about resource management and not health.
  21. Tecoei Employee: "So I want to bring Tengu back in DoA . . . but I want to make a sliiiiiight adjustment . . ." shows slide1 and slide 2 Tecoei Executive: ". . . fund it . . ."
  22. Can't believe I missed this [mostly because I had given up hope on seeing any footage] Demonstration [ Part 1 | Part 2 ] Location Test footage [ Part 1 | Part 2 ] I like that you can switch characters in between rounds [which also disproves any assist only characters]. I'll have to process it later but I can already tell it is rough around the edges and can hear the #poverty dissing already :x
  23. Glasses, smartphone screens, discs . . . Pretty much anything delicate.
  24. AmiAmi is cheaper, Play Asia [can be] faster.
