Can someone explain to my why, oh why, is Omito playing Eddie? Has he sold out? Anyway, regarding the latest gamechariot vids; this new JO player Yado, looks promising. Anyone know/seen him before? I haven't. And it's such a pleasure to see Kazuki's DI back in action. This is the man responsible for my playing her, and yet, I can never be that great of a DI player no matter how hard I try

But TBH I don't know too much about it and forgive me if I'm a bit paranoid about allowing other people access to my information. From my perspective it seems you have a solid grasp on the basics, saw some nice zoning with j.s and MFs. Nailed your FRCs and air combos almost all the time. Unfortunately I can't give you any advice against Millia as I myself have no idea how to deal with her. I fought a very strong MI yesterday (watch for the vids soon!) and I got trounced. I know the other JOs here will give you matchup advice for sure though. Keep up the good work!

Hey guys, I'm having trouble getting the Netplay option to show up on my install. Everytime I try to run what I think is the patcher file (icon looks like two yellow/pink pages with a Japanese symbol on the yellow one) I see a progress bar, and a message saying this

(off topic) Please don't be joking about Suzume. If the legendary Suzume is really coming back that is going to be epic win of gdlk proportions. I don't think I'll be able to handle it. Sauce? (on topic) DC is incredibly skilled; I see him as more of the wild card of the top JO players. He's unpredictable and more than capable of whopping ass coinless. Just ask N-Otoko. He'll tell you.

Well it's been a while, but I've got some new casuals with my group up. I should warn however: I'm rusty. Ever since Street Fighter IV came out, well...you know. I really haven't been keeping up my regular execution training. So excuse all the dropped air combos, misinputs etc. I'm gonna take this as a revision so feel free to comment as you've been doing so I can remember what it was I needed to work on. bacon (OS) vs killerwatt (JO) bacon (OS) vs killerwatt (JO) 2 pewter (SL) vs killerwatt (JO) SL continues to be a hard match for me... Anyway, back to training mode.

Since I am not 100% with enkasu setups yet I try to go for the biggest damage using KJ FRC in air combos. Most times I do blah blah -> KJ FRC -> jS, jK, jD Ensenga or KJ FRC -> jHS Divine Blade for knockdown. As for the ground, I've become fond of (in corner) L2MFM -> 6HS -> That's My Name when I see that I have > 50% tension. It does decent damage and looks really cool, but I'm pretty sure Johnny could do better things in the corner for 50% meter. Oh well, sometimes I like to place aesthetics over practicality

I can SB certain moves in training mode easy enough; SBing in a live match though is a different story. Most times I'm too conservative in my defense to even think about risking a SB. I have, (once though) SBed the second hit of a Sol's Tyrant Rave and countered with the Johnny Special. It felt manly.

Can someone help me with downloading the latest match vids from a-cho? I can't seem to find help anywhere when it comes to getting them. Thanks!

So I've been working on my corner enkasus lately in training mode and I've been wondering; does anyone else have trouble landing it in the corner opposite to your dominant hand? For example; I'm right-handed and can nail the enkasu 70% of the time in the right corner, but in the left I barely make it 10%. Any advice on how I can overcome this little hiccup? Oddly enough I have no problem landing my bnb combos anywhere on the screen; it's just the enkasus.

Really? Wow this is an interesting development. I think DC's goal in his matches is to scare his opponent into blocking, (with his signature coin-spam pressure that we all have come to know) jack up that guard guage and deal massive amounts of damage once he scores a successful mixup. Once out of coins, then he resorts to heavy mindgames so that he can maybe land a lvl2 Jackhound and pull off a win. That's my two cents, but of course I might be completely off base. Tell DC I said 'what's up!' and that I think he's a talented Johnny player; I really enjoying watching him play.

Does anyone have the direct link to the latest a-cho vids? Or a rapishare?

I love it when I go to tournaments and pick Johnny and everyone's reaction afterwards. I once heard a Ky player that lost to me say to his crew that he "didn't know what the fuck to do" against Johnny. If anything, we certainly have the element of surprise/uncertainty in our favor against the endless waves of Eddies, Slayers, Mays and Temkins.

Does anyone else have trouble accessing DL from different PCs? I find that when I'm at work DL doesn't load for me on IE (don't worry I only come here on my lunch break) but at home on Mozilla it does.

I hear you dude. Does Suzume still play? I rarely see any AC vids of him. If you're sitting on some secret stash of vids of the godly Suzume don't hold out on us!

Oh yeah totally; he got off some tick throws that made me wonder how N-O could not have seen them coming given how blatantly obvious they were. And while I agree that DC takes a rather unorthodox playstyle to Johnny and does many wtf things, I enjoy seeing him play, especially when he pulls off the upset win.

Tell me about it! I almost had to do a double take; that the JO was actually DC and the VE was N-O. Both were not playing in their signature styles at all; which is probably why DC won. You said it best; his usual playstyle ended up working against him vs Dougura (who didn't even seem to break a sweat) but against N-O he was much more cautious. Understandable because, well, it's N-Otoko. It was very great to see DC adapting to his matchup and not relying on his coinspam so much.
