  1. This j.D~C -> .. -> j.2D~A route works on pretty much any normal starter, for +100 over the route I was defaulting to. For example: Air to ground j.C -> 2C -> 5[C] -> 6C -> 236CC -> JC -> j.D~C -> .. -> j.2D~A -> 6C -> 4D6~B -> 6C -> 236AA -> 5D~A [3728] Air to ground j.C -> 2C -> 5[C] -> 6C -> 214D -> j.2D~B -> 2C -> 5C -> JC -> j.B(2) -> j.D~A -> 6C -> 4D6~B -> 6C -> 236CC -> 5D~A [3609] Definitely takes a bit more timing to get though. The 2C -> 5C route is not really that strict.
  2. Nice, added to the OP. We should get a bunch of these going, although most of them can be the exact same combo with a different CH C starter.
  3. You can jump cancel anything in Almost Becoming Two. It's 236C~B -> JC7 -> j.236Bx5 -> JC9 -> j.236Bx5 -> JC8 -> j.236Bx5 -> j.236236D. You need to jump cancel when each 5th hit of Cat Spirit Two lands, because that's what has the most untechable time. To get the first j.236Bx5 to hit, you should make sure Cat Spirit Encore also hit. The easiest way to do this is to delay each part of the coming after activating OD. So 6C -> ... -> 6C -> ... -> 236C~B -> JC7 -> j.236Bx5 -> etc...
  4. Well the problem there is the SMP without using something like the taunt ender, Rachel would get away for sure. We're probably better off using cat spirit encore against Rachel to be perfectly honest. With normal oki you have to deal with all of her wakeup wind shenanigans. 5B -> 2C -> 5[C] -> 6C -> 214D -> 236AA -> 5D~A -> 6C -> 236C~B or maybe 5B -> 2C -> 5[C] -> 6C -> 214D -> 236AA -> 6D~6 -> j.4D~A -> taunt -> 236C -> 5D~A
  5. An important fact not listed yet - using up your jumps/dashes locks your D button. This does matter since some combinations of movement options don't work anymore. You can't use up your jumps then use j.4D`C to reset it, you need to commit at that point.

  11. 5B seems like it results in much shorter combos this time around. I've been doing this in the corner, but there's probably better combos you can do. 5B -> 2C -> 5[C] -> 6C -> 236CC -> 5D~A -> 6C -> 236AA -> 5D~A

  13. I thought that would work, but it only seemed to go up to 30-50 before the DD, that was like the first thing I tried. And since the first hit of 22C is SMP, I can't go and do more of them unless the first hit whiffs.
  14. I'd like to know when j.2D~A combos into stuff in general. What makes it work. I've been able to get things like CH j.D~B -> land -> jump -> j.C -> JC -> j.B(2) -> j.2D~A -> 5C -> JC -> j.B(2) -> j.D~A -> 5D~A -> etc..., although I haven't been able to get the timing of the specific combo you're talking about yet.

  24. You're not going to get anyone to do the art for free. If it's 2D art, sprite animations take a shitload of time. If it's 3D art, then you need somebody trained to make 3D models and animation. Actually programming a fighting game? If you learned programming or used an already made engine, it can be done. But if you don't have the assets, you're not going to get anywhere. The best way to get good art? You're going to need to pay people money for that, people won't do long, quality work for free unless it's something they really want to do on their free time. If you're just an idea guy, your chances of doing anything are almost nil. Get a skill, and start working on things yourself. If you have a design document and nothing else, who is actually going to make the game without getting paid otherwise?
  25. Aren't Valk's/Tao's backdashes only that good because they're simply faster than most other backdashes? The actual invulnerable window for Tao's is only 2 frames more than the average, and Valk's is the average. I don't even see anything different in the data about Relius' backdash.
