Koishi stores moves and activates them. B stores melee, Y stores projectiles. If the timer runs out she does the move you stored herself. Or you could do short dash and she'll automatically do it. I think there's also a way to hold the button and make it so you have to activate it yourself without the timer. She also has a ring where if you run into it she teleports and does a hit. She's really weird to use.

I want to know how I'm supposed to open up a blocking opponent in this, or even keep a blockstring going. So many matches still come down to a popularity time out win. The neutral and combos seem easy enough to understand, normals cancel into bullets (some on whiff), most bullets are fly cancelable.

Declare Master Spark Midscreen 5AAA2A(1) -> 5X -> FC3 -> 5X -> FC3 -> Broomcar/Uppercut -> Master Spark Almost 7k but uses full spirit. This game is so fun.

Interesting, breaking it down like that does make it sound stupid, but it has mostly worked for me in the past. I've really got to sit back and critically think about some of these matchups more I guess.

Don't pressure, always bait. Don't be caught guessing between 4D and 2D on your own offense. It isn't worth it. Punish whiffed drive followups with 6C, 5D, or j.4D depending on position. Poke with 6C in general a bunch here, try to stay at midscreen. Don't let Noel run up at you, keep the right distance.

Yeah IOH j.A was hitting me a good bit. That and lobelias. I still did pretty well, but for some reason Rachel gives me the hardest time of all the characters in the game. Leaves me in blockstun for 75% of the round or doesn't let me get in at all. Good games to everyone I played tonight.

There's nothing that says you can't, you just had to ask for an invite. Edit: Yeah, I'm really weak against Rachel. I can't wrap my head around the neutral game in that matchup.

There is a usage for the back-hitting 5C. Air grab somebody with the opponent facing the corner. Now you're facing away from the corner. But if you do 66 -> 5C -> JC -> j.B(2) now the opponent is facing the corner again and you can get a corner combo on him. It has a bit more usage in CP because of the 5C -> JC -> j.D~B loop.

Well the main thing is that what is react-able to changes because the delay isn't there. Some tactics that seemed 100% solid online become risks if you're playing offline against somebody with good reactions. Defense itself is way more possible without the delay being there. Also, if the TV you're using at home is laggier than an evo monitor they use at a tournament. You end up getting really surprised how much time you actually have for some combos, and how the timing actually changes a fair bit, then you need several matches to adjust. Not being able to hear audio is also kind of crappy, a lot of us rely on sound cues more than we think. Things like neutral game, frame traps, and certain mixups would definitely carry over.

You need to delay between the final j.C and the j.9D~9. Getting all 5 hits is all about your height relative to your opponent, and it's more strict on smaller characters. If you're almost completely below them (but still high enough to hit them) when hitting 3D~3, usually all 5 hits will land.

Owner has the largest bag of subs and gimmicks I've ever seen. Couple that with good reading ability and you have a really scary player. Why he's not out winning majors is beyond me.
