  4. The problem with that logic is that PSN is the land of the alts. You never know who you're playing against until it's too late. Or you already know who it is.
  5. No, what you need to do is get the CS1 version with parry loop. Now your power level can be maximum.
  6. S button is a taunt button and it allows you to taunt mid-match.
  7. Yeah, I use the CT default control scheme too on pad. For burst I do throw and pressing A+B with my thumb. Works out pretty well.
  8. This is what you should do: Record the computer doing a blockstring you think is a frame trap. Play it back and try everything in your power to mash out of it. If you can, it's not a frame trap. Testing things yourself is one of the best ways to confirm if something works or not. This works for both sides. Record an opponent's pressure strings in training, play it back and see what you can do after it. It'll help you learn some matchups. If you're getting hit out of certain things, test it out. Maybe it's the way you timed it, maybe it's not a frame trap at all, maybe it's just lag. You don't know until you can confirm it.
  9. Why not just default to using your frame traps against certain players, then use other options if they do start respecting you?
  10. I was trying to do the same, most of the time it ended off with me getting hit. Online and IB don't seem to like each other. Good games.

  12. It really looks like Japanese players are defaulting to 2B -> 5B instead of mixing up after 2B. Where as in previous versions they did.
  13. The most important parts of Tao's game stay pretty much the same from version to version. So learning the character itself can be beneficial.

  15. Yeah, even in CS1 I don't think we even had any 6.5 matchups. As annoying Tao can be to fight against, she doesn't have anything overwhelmingly in her favour in most matchups. Or against, for that matter. Every Tao matchup is 4.5 to 5.5. With many of those being even. That's just my opinion on it.

  18. Yeah, I have CSEX on both consoles.
  19. GGs to owner, deadliest, and tectal. That was really challenging, and I think I learned a few things too about the respective matchups.

  23. Almost every single CT character was silly in general though.
  24. Huh? It seems pretty even to me, or possibly slightly in Litchi's favour. Litchi has every tool needed to deal with Taokaka. A lot more than most other characters.
