  1. Hey Danny, here's a match of me against Luna: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l1NMlsUtueA I actually have improved quite a bit since when we had this match, but there's an idea of what I was talking about with the matchup. Any thoughts / advice / comments?

  2. What about Lambda VS Tager?
  3. You play with Leonil right? How does his Haku play compared to mine when you VS him? I'm wondering what kind of things he does that might work. Also other Hakus in general.

  4. Saying mixup only includes unreactable things is defining it too narrowly, I think. Mixup is just a string of attacks that makes the opponent have to alternate between different modes of blocking or throw breaking, such as a low then a high. Unreactable things are just extremely good mixup.
  5. We will make you into the ultimate Hakumen. He's not really different in CS2 though. Just less damage.

  6. After you block Litchi's DP you can do pretty much anything. Hop forward 5C > combo, or Gurren > combo.
  7. It's not really dead. It's just not SF4.
  8. What's the thought process of a great player VS a good player?
  9. I love it. It looks amazing.
  10. Ugh SF4 AE. SF4 just makes me rage. Even when I win I feel like I lost.
  11. On defense, be careful with what moves you throw out. Haku's blockstrings have just enough gaps to make it seem like you can do something but are tight enough that your move will never make it out in time. The key is to figure out the various points where it would hurt you to try and attack.

  12. This is also important: don't rely on command throws. First, work on just getting your fundamentals up. Figure out how you can combo from pretty much any random poke and what moves you can use with what spacing to beat Hakumen's moves. For instance, doing 5C right after a throw break will beat Hakumen doing 4C clean. If you can do this, you won't always be going for throws, so they won't be as expected and thus scarier. You also need pressure up close that keeps Hakumen pinned down and stops him from jumping out, or catches jump outs. If he tries to jump out you get a combo, if he starts staying still you can go for throws. You have to "train" the other player first before you can go for your more advanced techniques. Backdash is good if the Haku gets aggressive. IB helps a lot.

  13. Yeah, I don't think it's smart to challenge Hakumen air to air. You'll get beat almost every time. You're better off slowly making your way in on the ground and jumping in through the air while blocking, to push Hakumen back. Don't fire Spark Bolt as soon as you get hit; hold it so the Hakumen has to be more careful and that will let you get in easier. If he does something dumb you can nail him with Spark Bolt.

  14. GGs dawg. You endured it. :P Your gadget finger mixup is getting scary. I'm guessing wrong half the time. x_x Usually I'm like "lol, gadget finger" but it's turning into an annoyance against you. Any thoughts on the matchup? You seemed to be going through several phases of trying different things.

  15. Do you mean his 623B? It has some invincibility but not frame 1.
  16. Nah, it's more like, Makoto and Noel are Ragna and Arakune is Arakune and Hazama is Hazama.
  17. Do you think you were getting the rust off by the end of the night?

  18. I was the one who wasn't around. :P My family came over for the weekend and my brother was the one playing on my account so I ended up not being able to play. Usually when tons of people are around it's impossible to play so I just let other people play and watch.

  19. 2A trolling was the greatest thing ever
  20. How much damage do you get off a corner combo like that if it's not started off 5C? Since we're not likely to land the same corner starter every time.
  21. Do Hakumen next. :3
  22. It's more like a 3S parry.
  23. Whoa ATG, congrats! Didn't know you had it in you.
  24. Fighting your Jin makes fighting every other Jin feel easy. :kitty:
