  1. Luckily Nu isn't like Carl that requires stick. TK's are pretty easy and consistent and I can move around pretty well than most Nu's on a pad or stick, I think so at least. I'm having some issues doing 236D>6C on the left side, not sure if I need a new controller or if it's me. I have a stick under my bed, and truthfully, I'm HORRIFIED to use it. I had issues playing on the PS3 pad, could barely move and felt stiff. Dashing was a pain in the ass
  2. Dude, in CT, 214D is crazy useful as Nu, I wish I had learned to abuse it sooner. I used to see Severin end most of the 3Cs that hit confirmed into 214D. For a while I thought maybe he was abusing lag and trying to get big free combo's into it. Then I realized 3C>214D is by far better than ending it with 236D(unless going into RC). 214D is amazing because if they mash tech, mash a counter, wakeup jump, etc, it lands a meterless combo for 4000+. In some cases with meter, that shit can skyrocket to 6500+. Doesn't even matter if it doesn't land, it forces the quick wakeup for incredible oki pressure. I think in time people will come to love 214D. Breaks a primer, go into mixup, blocked mixup can break another primer. Lambda is annoying to escape with TK's, moves bringing you into the corner, TK feints, her 4B, etc.
  3. Alright, figured out who ya are. I'm not mad, but...don't you think it's a little unfair to judge me on some games where my opponent saved a few games of him winning that night out of 20? Of course those weren't flattering videos and I kinda expected to be trash talked, doing poorly a few games captured of video=equals people laughing at me for doing bad since I'm one of the "better" Nu's on XBL. I did ONE wakeup 2C on Mac and got punished, how is that any different from a Hakumen fucking up a wakeup drive? I break a shitload of Macs grabs, I punish him tons for drives, wakeup specials, etc. Hell, if you go on youtube there's even video's of him trashing Severin's Nu, who's a pro and way better than the three of us I'm not amazing or godly, but I'm not as garbage as you think, at least watch this video of me versus Taoish and against one of the better XBL Rachels http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6MG6GLTX9U http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_RIk4foQ4B4

  4. Oh, wow, thats gonna take time to adjust to. I loved Nu's backdash. I'm surprised to hear it's bad in CS
  5. I guess that makes sense. I've watched a few video's where the person playing against Lambda had just ONE primer left and I'm thinking, "why aren't you just using the 236c?!" At least now I know her icecars need to be used sparingly outside of hit confirm And Lambda's backdash has tons of recovery now? I thought the only thing that changed was that there were less invincibility frames and that it didn't go as far. Is her backdash still not decent to get out of SOME pressure?n Kinda scares me to hear that it has long recovery time
  6. Nu's air attacks were never so great so I started using a lot of throws. Question though...doesn't it seem very risky to try and poke Lambda's 236C? It seems like if someone started mashing 2A that they'd be countered for 4000 meterless damage. I saw Azu doing a lot of just 5D>236C, it landed like 3 or 4 times on pro players. I guess Lambda can't just keep doing 5DD>214D all day, right?
  7. Yeah, been reading that. It's not so much her combo's being hard as...being kinda unpredictable sometimes. Watching the lambda vids sometimes 236C knocks the opponents around unpredictable sometimes. It looks like it takes a lot of quick thinking and reaction to keep the combo from losing steam. I think I watched Goro do something insane.. It was like a 4B counter, I think. He did 4B, it put him in the corner, he quickly dashed to the other side and did the TK loop. the dash 5A thing is tricky. In CT, I mess up Nu's 5DD>4DD>IAD>5A>3C gravity combo. I can get it, but I still mess it up a nice amount, mainly because the intended 5A turns into 6A from the dash timing.
  8. Outside her corner loops and anti air attacks, her damage is pretty garbage. It will at least be nice that Lambda will weed out the players who don't truly want to learn the character. 5DD>236B really won't win games alone. No more people complaining about her S tier status, no more saying she's cheap, less scrubs using her, etc. I think she'll be a rare sight once the new players decide she isn't spammable and switch to Mu and Bang To be fair though...her combo's aren't really THAT hard, right? It's just no more 5DD>4DD>teleport spammer players won't be as good. Lambda can be easily 2A'd out of all her icecars, right?
  9. Yeah, you would have K-On! as your avatar, nurato fag

  10. you played just fine

  11. no, i started zoning for that exact reason, counters. I was getting a little frustrated that i punished you so much for it, but you kept doin it until it landed for half my life. truthfully it looked you were mashing it a lot at some points. watch the fights, some poins i stared at you expecting it to be mashed. it worked for you, just felt alittle shitty t kee punishing it until it landed for 5000 damage

  12. nah, there were like a few games specifically where i just zoned and never tried t get cloe to you. watch the replays and youll see a big difference, but then i hated it and played normally. its fine, its your recording, use whatever will help you. god forbid skye cries more about me in the vids

  13. its mainly just because if you upload the ones where i just zoned i know ill get trash talked.

  14. sure, i dont mind. just a favor though, coul you not upload the ons where i just stuck with purely zoning, i don really play like that. im fine with you uploading the others, just not those 3 games or so

  15. follow online stuff? I'm not avoiding you, I rarely ever see you on :(

  16. Oh, that's really interesting. I'll probably mix in a healthy combination of close up fights and zoning. I'm a little excited after seeing what I think was Reria playing. Lambda was able to do TK feint>3C>236B>5A/6 some corner loop without meter. With Nu just needing to land one hit to push into a corner the possibility of her corner pressure really makes me excited to play her up close if loops can be done without meter
  17. Ugh, no good Nu ever used 6C in this matchup unless a hit connected. This fight sounds harder. Kinda a question though, Severin. I was able to play against Hakumen's up close in CT, does this change dramatically in CS?
  18. Makes sense. Azu still has no vids of him except for three, and he's looked more beastly than any Lambda I've seen yet
  19. Man, I just randomly started typing for Goro on youtube, and man, he's fucking awesome, I saved some of his shit on youtube. I'm actually really beginning to wonder why Minori's the most popular Lambda.
  20. Good vid, Kenja. Was that reria? I really liked that Lambda could do 236B in the corner into 5A>6A>loop Doing the TK feint into the 236B>6A was nice too. Pretty good for ideas, I saved it to favorites
  21. Making a habit of RC'ing into 236C if you know the person blocked the overhead is just a bad idea. It's great to do once in a while, but that shit will be punished real hard if you do it more than once per game. Truthfully, her teleports in general are real unsafe to go throwing out all the time, from what I watched. I'm a little scared to even try doing some 236Bs if the opponent blocked 3C.
  22. thats incrediby hard to react to on reaction. By the time you react to the tk landing into the rc combo is blackbeat. Try it training, you have to have incredible relexes to react to into an rc if they blocked high
  23. Wll the 5a/6a only possibly turn into tk loop only on ch or just period if the tk lands near the corner? hope this also isnt a dumb question....but...in ct it was difficult to hit confirm and react to tk-rc- into 6c/5d. I noticed in CS cresent causes a bounce, does this lead to easier reaction into a rapid cancel combo, or do I just have to bank on the overhead hitting them and inputting the RC anyway?
  24. question: if lambda counter hits with 21478D, what does it lead to? Couldnt find this in the combo section. It feels like it should lead into a big meterless combo loop but im sure it doesnt. Just wanna know, Its a nice punish in ct when people mash shit out cause they think its a tk feint. I hope it leads to something, otherwise it almost seems worth it for people to mash out if lambda has no heat
  25. I was thinking about this....and...well, I noticed for CT we were lacking some serious info on matchups. Any chance some of you guys who have been playing CS can start slowly making matchup posts? It feels like the rest of the character forums are so far ahead of us in creating and discussing matchup posts
