The last time I used 4B was 2 months ago and was a missinput, lol.

4B is a "I'm reading you tool" it serves no purpose as an overhead because its slow and punishable. Reading low spams and gay tao is where it shines.

Well, curiously enough, I never actually went out looking for any for Nu/Lambda.

I dunno, I think I'd actually feel kinda bad about it if I did.

Despite being able to combo into it from any other successful crouched hit, the damage output is 2k from a clean hit which is amazingly low considering the other options that are possible. Even on a CH 6A/2A/5B/2B/6B/5Cx1, you're more than likely to deal more damage by completing a ground combo.

you can actually get 4.3k meterless off a clean 4b midscreen and 5kish meterless in the corner if my memory serves correctly, which isn't bad damage at all

of course in the end it's use as an overhead is still pretty fail

4B leads into the TK loop if the opponent is cornered...

I didn't mean to say 4B was great, but it's really not awful if you're mixup game is good. I used to never use it, I like it a lot now, when used sparingly.

I'm still surprised you guys think TK/TK feint are shit though...I won't lie, I'm gimmicky as hell with it and it works well. TK feint into a another TK or 4B is hilarious shit.

My bad guys, I guess I've abused TK tricks into netplay so badly I got my facts wrong badly

I mean, unless you're being lazy or online.

The high damage midscreen 4B combos are a pain in the ass.

IIRC you can do:

4B > 6A > Kure > 5DD > 236C > stuff...

It leads to GOOD damage midscreen, but it's not worth the execution requirement. I think you have to hit the 4B at a certain distance... which is just stupid.

Depending on the distance:

- if 4B hits very close up, can do 6A > 2147D > stuff...

- if 4B hits not very close up, can do 6A > 2149D > stuff...

But I still haven't hit it consistently to make it applicable in matches. I find timing the 4B > 6A to hit as early as possible and not whiffing is the most difficult.

I'm landing 4B > 6A > 2147D > 5DD > 236C... pretty consecutively, not as hard as you make it sound.

Although 236C may whiff against some characters, unless done with a really tricky timing (Valkenhayn as the most recent example).

What are the specs of the 4B? Clean? CH? Crouching? Combo? 2nd Hit only?

And what is the timing for 6A? Similar to Grab? Depending on that, it may be a plausible combo to learn.

The only time i have 4B > 6A is a CH 4B, and the 6A is after CH 4B is similar to the grab but i didn't really have to dash, because when they're in the air they sorta float back to you and sometimes over you it depends on if your close up or max range for the CH 4B

if you're going to be using 4b for mixup, you should definitely be using the 6a link or underdash 2dd...the damage pay off is just too high compared to the CT combo lol

on the rare occasions that I do use 4b, I land 4b > 6a link consistently during matches as well. the hardest part is the 6a, and after that it's pretty much smooth sailing.

the only time it's ridiculously hard to link is when you're RIGHT NEXT to the opponent when you start the 4b...I have never been able to land kure after that, even with 2149d. spacing like that won't happen that often though unless you're doing meaty 4b on wakeup or something.

I don't know if it'll work for you guys, but I input 4 right before I do 6a (while the opponent is falling). just a small nudge, then 6a. helps out tremendously with the timing, but that's me. seemed to help out another friend I suggested it too as well.

since now BB induce all normals from b-> to C becoming air unblockable. Who is confident in playing lambda without Dp, jumping and bad normals ^^, fun pressure game.

-Increased recovery from crescent cancel

-Crescent saber's recovery increased. Cannot pick up combos from TK crescent

-6C sends opponent flying (in corner wallbounces)

-cannot combo 6C from 2DD

if its true hitting delete on lambda. Platina sure is looking attractive to play atm... First cammy in ssf4 is getting her TK dive kick remove now my CS main. awell life goes on.

I'm trying to think here, if these changes are true does she have ANY combos outside 5DD > 236B > Rapid > 5DD > 236C (I don't even know if that works in the loketest)

With 2147D not being able to combo...I really can't think of anything.

2DD > 6C followups are gone too, so that just leaves wallbounce 2DD combos and 4B combos? ugh.

Well, hopefully we're just being trolled and they change her back...if not...thank god i've been practicing other characters.

Oh, cool, Lamba's the next Rachel. Either I'll pick up Plantina or quit CS.

I was fine with Lambda being outclassed by a good majority of the cast, now they're just making her F tier

Even if she goes Rachel tier I'll still play her, I just love her that much. If this is true it is indeed a wonder why they wouldn't just delete her form the game lol. Useless extra programming. orz
