If his opponent is in front of a pole, he'll trigger it. Often in other rachel videos I'll be scratching my head wondering why they let people get away with standing in front of the poles all the time. Also interesting that vs. Bang he goes almost completely offensive, staying in Bangs face all the time, using backdash for avoidance instead of jumping away. Didnt do that against Litchi tho.. is it because Litchi has a DP?

The name on the video definitely isn't Matsu. edit: silly me, i only had seen the first match when i posted that. the name starting with the second match IS matsu. Holy shit that combo from j.3dc using pumpkin was HOT. I figured it was possible but never really got the chance to land it. (j.3dc 236a 6d dash 5b ~)

I'm fairly impressed by the number of times he landed it, actually. Somewhat related: That old rule-of-thumb, that longer ground combos were better due to wind regen? Very, very important now.

The runner-up of the Arcana Heart 2.6 SBO tourney this year was a girl. There's a vid of Sabin interviewing her floating around. Ok, back to being impressed by Matsu. Holy crap, this guy is my hero. So much pressure.

That's a good point, actually, hadn't noticed it until you pointed it out. Not sure how that works, since the combo didn't go black/blue until later. Anyone know what's up with that? Is level 3 j.2c always a fatal?

Is level 3 j.2c always a fatal? hidden buff? so what are our options with this? it could just be only her lvl 3 j.2C becuase 5CC wall bouncing never fatal countered, this could be why lvl 3 j.2C combos have reportedly been doing 4-5K dmg, looks like we've found our clap loop, sure hope this is enough to rise in tiers a little, with the positive proration, and longer untech time this could be the beginning of what we've been waiting for, this also explains why she got so many nerfs, i knew they couldn't trash a character that bad not even accidentally, who knows what else they want us to find
