As long as this logo is not on the game i always have faith that the game can get better Also to all the people overreacting by the game having dumb stuff, unless the game is really limited on what you can do (SF, BF, AP) you will always have this kind of stuff on the 1st iteration (and even games like SF, and BF had some type of infinites) I wouldn't worry about the dumb shit, as long as the company is willing to keep making better the game through revisions any game can get better.

Marvel's a little better too, but meh, it's still Marvel.
Hecatom Posted October 3, 2012 Author Posted October 3, 2012 (edited) I am kinda of joking I don't think that SSF4AE2012 is terribad, but with each iteration the game became less and less fun to play FOR ME, and interestingly the scene of my country has also dropped it from the major part of gatherings and tournaments, too bad that they are playing umvc3 mostly now (a fun game, but i am starting to grow bored about it too) edit BTW, Balance =/= fun of course this doesn't mean that you can't have a balanced and fun game Edited October 3, 2012 by Hecatom

Chaoschao222 Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 Marvel's honestly the fighting game I have the most fun playing now (and it will prolly stay that way till Chrono Phantasma), but it's like one of those "only fun with friends" sorta things.

That game has way too much of that, and it's meta game (don't press 4/1, press buttons incessantly or else you'll lose) fuck with my fundamentals in other fighters.

KoF (XIII) is only balanced because it's a game of "Touch of Deaths" the characters themselves are ok but it's the fact everyone can kill once they enter HD that makes everything ok. And regardless of balance in games there will always be characters that just plan have it easier, thus why you see an over usage of some character. Honestly I think fighters have gotten to the point where the creators have reached an unspoken truth of trying to make characters viable, unlike in the past there are rarely times a character is just utter shit. Also F you haters, SFxT I still hold as one of my favorite 2D fighters
