SolxBaiken Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 his R Action is called "Double Upper" and his Awaken Super is "Mahaziodyne" (aka the strongest multi target Zio spell) Aside from that looks all good = w=b

I knew of a Maralagidyne, though
SoWL Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 I just thought that was the Japanese spelling of Maziodyne, I didn't even know a 'Mahaziodyne' existed. I knew of a Maralagidyne, though Well, it actually is the Japanese spelling. AFAIK, it was always Ma- instead of Maha- in the English games (though I've only played P3 and P4 so far).
SolxBaiken Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 haha, sorry about that, the older SMT games didn't localize it like that, not sure why they do now...and my brain just defaulted to what it remembers x.x
Ragnorok64 Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 Mitsuru doesn't have that many moves :/ Has Arc System Works ever had a character with so few moves?
Starlight777 Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 So Kanji is a grappler with no 360, 720 or double half circle commands? Sweet now I'm tempted to try him if the game comes stateside. And Mitsuru's lack of moves is shocking, hopefully she has good normals. I didn't expect her to be a charge character either.
Tong Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 Like Guile, I'm guessing her normals are going to be way too freaking cheap good to compesate that.
shtkn Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 or maybe she's unfinished? seems unlikely, but i suppose it's possible. techinically, rachel's only specials were: cannon + sword iris, pumpkin, and george, so who knows, maybe mitsuru's moves have something special about them
pktazn Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 (edited) Yea, I'm thinking there's something about Mitsuru and her moves if they decided to give her fewer moves compared to the rest of the cast. EDIT: Actually looking at the other movelists, some of the other characters don't have that many either. It's really noticeable for Mitsuru though because Naoto is right above her, though she really does have the least moves haha. Edited December 2, 2011 by pktazn
Starlight777 Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 Um should this section have a video thread, in case we get footage later?
Kronikhall Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 so, assuming the role of Captain Obvious for a moment, Mitsuru's inputs are charge inputs, right?
DevilTrigger Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 Yep, her specials are indeed charge moves. Sort of odd she doesn't have some sort of qc w/e input too, but I'm sure she'll have something to make her interesting
Starlight777 Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 I'm guessing maybe a command normal with a unique property or two?

pktazn Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 Somewhat related: Mitsuru removed Marin Karin in my file for P3P. My mind was blown. Pun not intended.
Henaki Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 this game better be good. ive lost hope in 1v1 fighters...
Tari Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 Interesting how Mitsuru has such a limited moveset and, unless I'm misreading those graphs, is listed as having a weak offense, but is also apparently very easy to use.
Tari Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 (edited) Double post, but eh. For anyone who wants to work on Teddie, feel free to reorganize this info however: R action: --- Fake Bear* (feikuma) - With the opponent's attack, B+D *not 100% sure on this name, but it's likely Special Moves: (all of his normal specials are EX possible) --- Bear Screw (beasukuryu-) (air possible) - 236A/B ?? (papekkuma*) (air possible) - 214A/B Bear TV (kumaterebi) (persona required) - 236 C/D Bear Warp (kumawa-pu) (persona required) - while inside the television, 236 C/D ?? (perakkuma**) - 22A/B *can't figure out what this one is supposed to be... puppet? (pappeto) **absolutely no idea here. only thing that comes to mind immediately is 'pera pera'. Super Special Moves: --- Tomahawk (tomaho-ku) (air possible) (persona required) - 236236C/D Awakened Super Special Moves: --- Kumada* Great Circus (kumadadaisa-kasu) (persona required) - 214214C/D *his human-form name in the jp version of the game, i believe? ---- - I have no idea what the 'P' column is. Is it, like, "Persona OK" or something? edit: thanks for clarifying, Nihiru. - Teddie's an all-around average character on the graph. Edited December 2, 2011 by Tari
Delrian Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 Fake Bear* (feikuma) - With the opponent's attack, B+D I wonder if this means his attack changes on who he's fighting or if it's a slight mistranslation and it's a counter.
LunaKage Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 FakeBear? Sounds like Teddie uses a replacement Jutsu. /shot
Nihiru Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 Pretty sure P refers to requiring a Persona to use the special, which coincides with how Yukiko's entire list is all dotted with P. And it makes sense if you check what specials require Persona, most of them are spells. If it wasn't know already, the stat chart basically reasons Top - Use Ease (Ease of use) Top Left - Persona Top Right - Aggression Attack (Aggressive ability) Bottom Left - Rapidity (Speed) Bottom Right - Defense
