I'd do whatever it takes; stepping up to the plate and be a mod that's active, likeable, knowledgeable, and respectable.

I appreciate the nomination lol really doesn't matter who it is though. I'll still do my job of bringing you guys useful things. Speaking of which I came up with nice combo mid screen. It gives you 3.3k for 50 heat. It's not too situational but I would use it as a mix up. Let's say you do jb and as you're about to hit the ground do jc. Make sure that the animation of jc comes out but doesn't actually hit them then input 3c or while they are waking up after ice car knockdown you can do an empty jump 3c. The only thing you should watch out for is if they do wake up air throw or dp. Anyways, here is the combo: 3c< 623a RC< sj jd< iad j2c< jc< sekkajin< 5c< jc jump cancel< j2c< 214b. I think this gives you 3.2k but you can get an additional hundred or so if you do 5c before the sekkajin. I'm not sure if it's worth doing in a match or not but it doesn't hurt to add it to your arsenal.

I would actually do something like fake out j.X into 2B, just to be on the safe side, but that's just me lol. Something like j.X fake out > dashing 2B > 5B > Sekkajin > dashing j.C > j.2C > j.D > 6C > 214C. Quite a bit of meter gain, good corner carry, good oki, but crappy damage standing at around 2.1K. The offset here is that you can confirm into 5B, into another mix-up without the use of meter to make it safe.
Chris Chaos Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 To be openly honest; if It were up to me, I would want the mod position to go to the following: Solex: I feel Solex would make a great moderator due to his display of knowledge of the character from videos we've seen in the tournaments he has played in his area, and his participation in the Jin thread overall since we've become active again. I would only want to see more of Solex participating in the Match-Up threads, especially since he's one of the few Jin players that posts in the thread that actually played BBCS:EX. Moy_X7: He has been around for quite some time and he excels when it comes to playing Jin as a whole. His match-up experience shows when he wants to posts in the thread and he's very active among those in the online aspect of the game. His Jin is known by all those on Dustloop and if he participates a little more in the Jin Match Up threads to assist with the development of other Jin players who lurk the threads, he would be a great addition to the staff. Jourdal: Jourdal's participation on Dustloop as a whole has benefited not only the Jin Thread but the rest of the cast as well. He has given Dustloop most of the video access necessary for us on the site to be able to get a better grasp on how match-ups work and it has gone a long way. The video's he's posted in the Jin BBCS:EX thread have really assisted players through the development of character changes, especially Jin's. He's managed to find videos of our character playing even though you see less Jin players in Japan now. Myself: I know that I would be a great candidate for the position due to my participation in the Jin Forums that started the wave of bringing live back into it. I was once struggling playing the character and there was nothing much here until I passed on the idea of starting a General Thread. Now that we have one and people are being a little more open with each other, the development in the Match-Up threads are happening and everyone is getting involved in some shape or form. This has really helped out in the player development since we all are closer now, that we can openly share our strengths and weaknesses to each other. In the end, If I am not selected, as long as any of the others are selected moderator, I would be happy and fully support whom is in that position because the thread would be in good hands, and it would belong to someone who cares about what happens here.
