xHarukashii Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 im thinking bout borrowing my cousins ps3 and porting EX but 80$ seems like a waste for an update lol.. i think the canidates for mod should be shinsyn- because he seems very active on these forums and seems like a knowledgeble jin. scam 4 life/hallowedHaven - cause hes a monster better than SRZ imo, knows the character very well solex- very knowledgeable jin, very strong jin goes to tourneys and such. me- i dont mind being the mod im really scrubby though.

Shinsyn- Active on forums, seems knowledgeable, solid knows the character well recently made that kisaragi connection post pretty neat. MoyX7-Seems active on forums read a few useful post by him seems knowledgeable/solid MinoriHoshi- Seems active heard hes a strong psn jin, seen a few useful posts, knowledgeable. Myself- Im not as active but i wouldnt mind getting the position i know this character very well, i would help out the Jin thread also it seems really messy. would be more active oh and i gotta add you on my new acc sole my main actually got banned(dumb story) but this is my permanant for sure. we gotta get some gemus in :3

Solex Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 (edited) lol luna you silly and those matches were awesome harukashi thanks alot has anyone else ever used jins 3c on defensive wake up. it goes under alot of things and if you get a counter hit you can corner swap with like 3.5k while the punish most of the time will be starting off of with a 2a so it wont be good damage. its pretty useful against someone like ragna if you think they are gonna 5b luna what does your avatar gif say when it flashes? Solex Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 ya its fucked up its kind of like a mix up because if they think you are gonna 3c most of the time 6b will go over it and vice versa with 3c going under moves but i totally feel like dacidbro when i do this "mixup" lol :3 the moves it beats are almost all 5a's and the rest are character specific(ragnas 5b) and a lot others the main problem is some characters can do certain moves that would normally get beat by 6b to beat it. like hazamas 2a

I maybe be good but I'm not as active as some of the other people who get on here. That doesn't mean I wouldn't do it if given the task but some people are probably better suited. lol we're getting pretty hype about this mod thing though. I bet shtkn is like "dance puppets, dance!" On a side note I got another funny thing. I've tested it out in training mode and it worked one time in a match but I'm still trying to work out the mechanics for it. Btw it only works on makoto and ragna... maybe tsubaki too but they haven't been tested on. Well let's say you have ragna in the corner and your opponent is kind of trigger happy with ID. When they are waking up if you jump forward at a specific time ID will whiff. Essentially what's happening is ID is propelling ragna forward, and you're jumping over him before the move occurs so he'll go right behind you. It works... but I wouldn't recommend using it in matches yet until I figure it out perfectly. By all means though practice this in training.

I'll give it a test. In a similar note, dashing 2B goes under Makoto's DP as posted in the OS thread. Edit: Kei is doing some work out there, he read the crap out of those guys. Successfully baited Rachel's last Burst, (not that surprising though, given the situation), successfully baited ID twice after giving the impression that he was going for a reset with 236D and j.236D, psychic DP A'd out of Gauntlet Hades and Rasenga. I like to do early jB when I do that. The jB can CH them from the other side or just whiff depending on the timing. Works vs Makoto dp, Litchi dp, Ragna dp, Houtenjin, and I'm pretty sure Tsubaki dp but I usually 6b vs her now. If they block they'll stand up so you get free pressure.
