Daedron Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Twitch didn't save the archives. It has been doing this for a while now too. I lost about 3 live streams because of it. Reason? Because they're slowly rolling out their new layout and stuff gets messed up, believe me when I say I REALLY WANTED THOSE ARCHIVES :<
Errol Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 I wanted those archives too. Damn it Ron... At least it happened before friday. Can you be sure it's fixed for the future?
Kiba Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 How about some YT uploads then? Daedron I can play now if you want. I want revenge matches.
Daedron Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 (edited) It's all up to how Twitch is feeling, I can't control it...though I could like, make it record to my HDD while streaming. That way I can at least upload it to youtube afterwards. EDIT: I'm getting off my PS3 in like 30 minutes. Gotta do other stuff besides BB lol, sorry. Hit me up tomorrow or saturday or any day really and I should be available then. Edited February 7, 2013 by Daedron
Adam0812 Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Wow ps3 has just died on me, I had it fixed about year ago but looks like its gone again, switches on for about 5 seconds then red blinking light, for fuck sake!

Adam0812 Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 On the plus side, it wasn't the ps3 I've got persona on, but 20 hours of Ni no kuni and 20 hours of okami on there!
Daedron Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 (edited) Using an external program, I am able to download/watch the archives from the matches I had with Kiba 2 days ago. They're not showing up on Twitch's site but they are definitely there...just lost or something. I'll see if I can get them on youtube. First 7 matches don't seem to have been recorded at all though...that's odd, total video time is 1 hour 39 minutes. We started at 3AM and stopped at 5AM so yeah, stuff's missing...oh well. Airk Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Better than nothing! Thanks for the effort! Let us know when you've uploaded.
Daedron Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 (edited) Well, they're currently stuck in processing at the last 5%...please don't tell me Youtube doesn't accept .flv files. http://i.imgur.com/1BwG820.png >.> EDIT: Well, something's happening. I can see a thumbnail on the last video (but that one's only 9 minutes long). I also keep hearing the damn Microsoft Clicking noise...Youtube's weird. EDIT2: It's slowly starting to finish the processing in literally a random order. Video 4 finished first and now 2 finished...even though 2 is as long as 1 and 1 uploaded first...lawl. I'll post them in the video section once they're all done. EDIT3: I'll be gone to work now, if that Kiba vs Toan thing is gonna happen today, know that I'll be back a bit after midnight. Which is 6-7PM EST I believe. Well, bai bai :V Edited February 8, 2013 by Daedron
Vosetri Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Are there any practical crossup options or mixup options besides 6A. Or should I just try for frametraps
Kiba Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 (edited) You can use j.236C for crossup options but you need CH or charge (preferbaly charge) to be able to followup. If you're too low you'll do it in the opponent's face and if you do it too low you won't get the full animation. You can also use IAD j.214D for another crossup but if you don't have heat you're vulnerable. You have TK214X (preferable D version because it's the fastest) to bait throws. However, all of these options have the very weakness that you need more charge to really make the most out of these options, with the exception to TK214D if it's used in the corner. Rather then ending your combos normally with the 236C > 214A > 22B, you can go for TGR's safe jump setup. Use 236C > 214A then jump and then you have options of mixup consisting of: -Jump > Late IAD into j.CC -Empty jump into throw -Empty jump into 6A -Empty jump in 2B It only works against a neutral tech or quick tech. If they roll forward you've lost your setup. There's an option select which allows you to act against DPs with this setup but it's better explained in the wiki. More gimmicky options include: -236D > RC > 5A: If you RC early you'll remain in your opponents face whilst doing it later will allow you to be behind your opponent. The point of this is just to confuse your opponent and 5A is your fastest option. Furthermore, you CAN deliberately do this with 236C to make the opponent think they can punish you. Loses to Tager's 360 and Hakumen's drive attempts Other than that, the only other option would be to rely on other things like unblockable setups or basic stuff like attempting Throw Rejects/counters from time to time. FatalCounter Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 I guess Kiba doesn't like Blood Pain matches. Fight for the Princess Yayoi's love. Kiba, wtf you are doing almost 7k online? I think with Valk everything is possible. Your Valk too good. Daedron, man you did a great work with those amazing "hard to get out setups", you actually did better vs Kiba's Tsubaki.

Yea, I'm not too fond of Tsubaki mirrors. Thanks, but I think my Valk is just strong in terms of setups and combos. Everything else is pretty average. I'm too comfortable aganst Tsubaki's pressure which is why I barely CA with Valk, and I'm not supposed to be blocking for very long anyway. Most of the time Daedron got the momentum going and really it should be the other way round with Valk. I need more work I suppose, and jya, as you said, Valk gives 0 fucks.

Yeah you were blocking a bit too much. Watching, I was saying "Kiba, you know that is punishable, you are our teacher (lol, kidding) and press something to break that momentum" But this is easy to say though, during matches, you don't want to take some risks and get countered. But playing Relius, I learned to take some risks, you know we don't have a DP to get out of pressure. Daedron is pretty good even though he get beaten.
Surf Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 (edited) Kazu for best CP Tsubaki Whoa whoa whoa WTF Look at Kazu's charges and then look at them after he gets hit. Edited February 8, 2013 by Surf
Surf Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Was it? Looked like he was still charging And looks like double IAD can be done from a regular 2C starter now thanks to the new combo time limit
