We get nothing if we're not near the corner or point blank. I'll give you the Ice Blades though, those things have a shitload of hit-stun on CH and lead to too much damage for a projectile lol. Doesn't that mean you can still do it, it just takes more thought? Isn't that a good thing?

I'm perfectly fine with the way his moves are now and what damage he gets and whatever frame stuff applies. I do feel like he's just missing something in regards to how the game flows as a whole and him being able to have some control of it. I think he's fine as a character as is, I just want to see more from him with how he can approach the game itself compared to other characters. If I had to "complain" about a move, I will say 5D is the only move that's kinda weird to hit confirm so maybe that could change. The hit confirm difference between a non-CH and a CH isn't recognizable it seems, you basically just have to do it since there doesn't seem to be enough time if it happens to be non-CH. Compared to say 2D, which you have enough time to distinguish between the two. But this would be me being picky and is unnecessary.

Everyone hates their character, even when they're good. The only people who are happy are the people playing top tier, and even then they have to defend their characters from haters and assure people they're not as good as everyone says, such that they don't even get to enjoy how good their characters really are. The only people that are truly happy are the ones who never post.

Jyosua Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 With DP D and j.236D being the only truly useful ones. 236D is extremely situational and easy to jump out of on reaction. 214D should really only be used against the projectile zoners when they whiff something. Besides, he needs his meter for a once in a match overhead lol. I wonder what Jin would do if j.236D didn't work the way it did. Just hope to frame trap someone to death? Hope to fish for CHs all the time? lol Yeah, and then once you spend that 50 heat to RC that overhead they immediately burst. Frame trapping people to death? That's how I play Jin, lol. I'm terrible at mixup and ambiguous mixup so I rely mostly on frametraps. Thank you lol. I don't have problems with his overhead, but uh... Hazama gets like 5K and most of his meter back with his overhead, that shit is definitely more efficient than Jins. As a whole, they both work the same in terms of how they are used though. Clearly they just need to boost the P1 and P2 of 6A then. Well, isn't that the point of Jin? Doesn't finally landing that hit without a great overhead make all the work worth it? No, actually. Doesn't that mean you can still do it, it just takes more thought? Isn't that a good thing? You best be trollin'. max range j.C, 5C, and 5B can pretty much only be followed up by very short combos. j.C is the only one you can get meterless knockdown on and only if you know it'll hit (or have godlike reflexes). The others you'd have to spend 25 heat for a chance at Oki.

I actually can't think of any other games that have had these problems. Edit: except Persona, so maybe it's a weeaboo thing? Or that aren't playing. Or that, yes.
