I'm actually surprised that Makoto's OD is that great, it sounded like the least powerful one back when they announced it.

The description made it sound like crap. If it was just lv. 3 drives, it was going to be the worst of the bunch. As it turns out, several of Makoto's moves gained new properties in overdrive (yay ground bounce on meteor dive and lightning arrow).

I'm so hype for this game right now.

Too much Bullet man. It's the only character I'm seeing. Give us more glorious Azrael.

We're too effeminate for us to get more gameplay of him lol.

But real talk he's looking like he's not as easy to crack as the other cast members, particularly; because it's hard to get in close, unsure on how to hit confirm, what normals are best to use and when, how to pick up combos off his hits and finally how to capitalize/place weak points.

Bullet however, seems to be clearly defined in terms of gameplay and fairly straight forward with a really cool play style, along with (for certain perverted players) "bewbies". So it'll be a while before we start seeing Azrael more and more so Amane.

BTW, something peculiar about OD: If one character activates OD, both characters' Distortion Drives get enhanced.

I don't think this is true. The background colour does change to red, but the other characters super isn't powered up. I'm sure I saw a CPU Relius go into OD, then a Bullet used super, but no extension on the end.

That Relius Distortion Overdrive is just brutal.

I like this guy. Astrals for everyone. He doesn't discriminate.

I really don't think he's that hard to figure out, use growler field + dash to close up space, confirm something to a mark, make them guess and then inflict sadness upon them. It also doesn't hurt that bionic hawk stinger is arguably the best DD in the game. It also helps that his air dash is fairly solid and his normals are slayer-certified good.

I've had enough of fucking Bullet.

QFT. Obviously, we're all extremely grateful for any footage. But everyone and their mother seems to be playing Bullet. Every time it goes to the character select screen I hope to hear a new name, but alas, I once again hear "BARRET!"
