Taokaka would make more sense, would it not? I mean, they are both the speedsters of their games. i think its better, if you're going to make a comparison, to put chars with similar mechanics and/or basic idea. hazama and i-no have NOTHING in common, gameplay wise I-No VS Izayoi seems a bit more fitting in that case.

I disagree; Partly because this breaks down pretty rapidly, but mostly because most "rivalries" don't actually involve characters with particularly similar skills a lot of the time. The characters just need to have -something- in common. Whether that's being "the lead girl" in their franchise, being "the heavy" (even if not necessarily a grappler), "the villain" or whatever. Reference CvS2.

Same here, going to AX, but possibly/maybe (not) gonna enter the CP tourney (will be streamed though for those that can't make it), because of scheduling (or other stuff), but who knows, at least its a good thing to try CP out, lol. Oh, and lol, can't just take the free win, you gotta go against the skilled BB players first.

XD Seriously though, if you want to enter: do it right away. Talking to the guys at Aksys, they are forced to limit entry to the tournament due to time constraints. There will be about 3 setups and 2.5 hours for me to run the tournament.

And yeah, I know I haven't tried out the new guys yet, but it would make for great practice though, at least already played enough of the old cast to get situated enough for CP.
DarkRios III Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 I hope they plan to be at EVO as well, I had to choose to either go to AX or EVO this year, and to support anime games this year so we have a chance to have BBCP at next years EVO. I went with EVO and entered the P4A tourney (as did 400 other people) because they said if the community didn't support P4A then no more "anime games" on the main stage. So I can only hope that 400 is enough AND BBCP is at EVO too.

They just had too much going on this time off year to able to be able to support all of it. @SWD: You have to sign up at the Aksys booth. Just make sure to do it the morning of the first day.
