Xtra_Zero Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 The flight mechanic already looks way, way better than SWR's (real in-flight footsies this time) but I'm going to have to side with Furix at the moment and say this doesn't look quite as good as IaMP. It seems once again Tasofro is toying with a new engine, which is good and bad. We'll see in December I guess.
psycofang2 Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 Honestly i like what im seeing, and again honestly i really DONT want to see another IaMP, it was good but i think it is being a bit over credited. Iamp was solid but it bored me because of it, SWR wasnt close but it was more fun in terms of combos and just when you think you have someones moveset down they hit you with a move switch. the decks gave a huge diversity to a sinlge character let alone all of them. so something new coming to the table is very welcomed in my book.

SoWL Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 The reveal itself isn't that surprising, since getting a single new character in a demo is pretty much a TasoFro tradition by now. The character, though, is less obvious, but I guess she is a fine choice for a floaty heavy-hitter: her ANGRY FIST OF HEAVENS is especially characteristic of that. Cool to see that they added IB and unique abilities, makes the game feel more modern.

This weird...fog activates and I have no idea what it does if the bar reaches a certain point. I want Fujiwara no Mokou and reimu Don't give shits about any other characters....but Suwako. Or MvC3 Though to be honest, considering how this game focuses on faith (or "Religion War" as I nicknamed the game), I doubt Mokou would fit in. I think we might see Sanae, and I hope we see Seiga w/ Yoshika. Also we might get new character Who might be Christian
Agni Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 It's an official Touhou game, we WILL get a new character, I guarantee it. I think Fairy Wars is the only one that didn't get a new char. I think Tenshi has a good chance to come back, given how she's from heaven. Maybe Eiki too?
