WakeUpDP Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 wait, the three of them combo into each other in OD? yeah, it was shown at the end of the 2nd combo vid by Nashi http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YkYUQATdkxI#t=199s It looks pretty sweet, the ignis recover option with OD 4D is pretty good too.

Yo that combo is pretty stylish, but for the little damage it gets I don't think it'll be used much in matches, like TD was saying
.:TM:. Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 I think there's a lot more to his OD, I remember reading that things like 4D-214D was possible.
Boodendorf Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 This Relius really uses well the overdrive, it's kinda like getting another full ignis gauge just as the first one you had is about to end, and it can't deplete completely in OD mode. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QBEF1jXhFg0 13:30 for a really cool AND practical combo, 5B 3C 6D OD 5C 4D, backjump, foward air dash, 5D, jB, 2C, 6C, 236A 214B. Classy as hell!
Kurushii Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 Thanks but you totally typed that incorrectly. It is: 2B > 5B > 3C > 6D > OD > 66 > 5C > 4D > j.7 > j.66 > j.D > j.B > 2C > 6C > 236C > 214B
Kurushii Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 My bad lol. I also didn't even notice the 2B. It was more than that you made mistakes on lol
Boodendorf Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 Yes I didn't use the right notation for it, and didn't include the ground dash (that I didn't even notice too).
Myoro Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Sorry to bother you all again, but I don't know who else to ask these questions, (or even if I should be asking them here.) Recently in some relius combo vids (for CSE Relius) I've been seeing this one amazing trick over and over again. the combo goes as a normal combo from 6B should, 9that is 6B->6C->214A->6B->high jump->j.B->j.8D) but then the Relius dashes under the opponent and uses Id Laugher and the opponent goes the in opposite direction and the following Id Haas pushes the opponent into Relius so that he can continue the combo! I've been trying to do it but the air Id Laugher always whiffs or sends the opponent flying in the proper direction. Are there any tricks to making them fly backwards? I would be grateful for any help on this. On a side note though I haven't seen this combo see use in CP. is it because 6B doesnt connect to 6C? or is it because relius can no longer send the opponent flying backwards with the air Id laugher? Oh, before I forget, for reference the combo I'm talking about is in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yIXgXFw0lok Thanks for any help given!

Oh, before I forget, for reference the combo I'm talking about is in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yIXgXFw0lok Thanks for any help given! The j.B > j.8D > Airdash Under > j.236C~214A > Falling j.C route is character specific, and it does not work at all on Litchi, Platinum, Rachel, Noel, Makoto, or Lambda. For large characters, such as Tager, Hakumen, and Bang, you want to be fairly quick about doing your dash 6B after 214A, so that you have the range to dash under them. Otherwise you'll be on the same side during the airdash. On medium sized characters, like Ragna, Hazama, Tsubaki, and Taokaka, you'll want to delay your dashing 6B just a little bit, and then delay your j.B > j.8D to push them out a bit, that way you're j.236C will cross up, and not hit them in wrong direction. And on tiny characters, such as Mu and Carl, you want to delay your 6B as long as possible, to get them very far in front of you, then do the air route as fast as you can, so they don't get too high. Just make sure you aren't too close to them, or else j.8D will push them behind you, or the airdash > j.236C will whiff. Also, it should still work in CP from different starters, such as a raw 214A anti-air. Though the 6B > 6C gatling removal does make it much less practical of a combo.
Kurushii Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 To the person that asked about the 3C Kamoihito loop from CSE. Kamoihito took up my request and reuploaded the video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hmYnj28RQMw
Myoro Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Thank you so much Urichinan, Kurushii, and Kamoihito! (it was I who posted all these questions ^_^') I'm putting these combos to good use as we speak!

Kamoihito took up my request and reuploaded the video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hmYnj28RQMw That is the most beautiful thing I have seen in a long time. Damn, I have to hit training mode.
Kurushii Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 You welcome. I believe it's Tager, Litchi, and Jin character specific.
916zking Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 I have to hit training mode. Looks like I'll be doing the same thing :V Anyone know if this carries into CP or if a change removed it?
NemesisZeru Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Midscreen practice this: 5B > 6B > 6C > 214A > 6B > sj.B > j.8D > j.236C > j.214B > ad Well, I'd ask in the CSE stuff(Except, y'know, it's all locked and archived now, apparently), but I kinda need help with this I can't seem to dash anywhere near far enough after 214A to land a 6B, and when I do get anywhere close to that, the dummy techs. Do I need to delay the 6C>214A or something? It's probably just something simple I'm missing, but I'm trying to learn some Relius combos in CSE and this is getting kinda annoying. :P
Kurushii Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Oh sorry, against the majority of the cast you have to dash between the 214A and 6B
NemesisZeru Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 (edited) Oh sorry, against the majority of the cast you have to dash between the 214A and 6B Oh, I know. I am dashing, but I can't hit them with 6B after dashing before they tech, either because I can't dash far enough, or I get close to far enough and try to 6B, but they tech. :B I'm practicing this on Ragna, if that makes any difference. I'm pretty sure it doesn't, but who knows? lol Edited July 23, 2013 by Zeru64

It's micro. Basically tap 66B.
NemesisZeru Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 It's micro. Basically tap 66B. Aha! It worked! I thought I had to dash a lot further for 6B to land, hehe. Thanks! x3 Gonna take some practice to get it down 100%, but now that I know I need to microdash, should be a lot easier now.
LegendaryRath Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GsBCXwX8P8g watching this, I imagine Ryo is some sort of high-class businessman.
Boodendorf Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 Question here, has anybody seen a Relius land a 3C after a 41236B (Gad Leis)? I've seen Ryo try but fail in a match so I just wondered, would be pretty nice for no ignis combos.
Myoro Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 (edited) I have: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WJbrE7jXv20 happens around 1:53 = D Although 5B/6B/5C/2C->stuff seems to be the better alternatives. Unless you're going for oki... If you don't mind me asking, what are you planning to do with gad->3C? Edited September 6, 2013 by Myoro
