True enough, 'advancing on your position' sounds like an advisor informing a character or some bad taunt you yell at a guy a hilltop away in fuedal era japan anime.

Ok, here's my interpretation of the events:

Terumi posses Jin and cuts off Ragna's arm, makes off with Saya and leaves him to die.

The problem is, don't we see Terumi standing there in person alongside Jin in CT Reconstruction? I distinctly remember a CG (because I thought it was dumb) of him standing there next to Jin in the flames, spiky hair and all.

Also if we're counting the anime as canon-ish that just has Jin there by himself. :3333

We all know Terumi was there during the whole thing, Ragna even remembers feeling his presence. I guess its probably up in the air if he was possessing Jin or not, but Jin does have his smile in that CG.

Erm... in the light novel adaptations, Terumi was actually there in physical form. Not possessing Jin.

ct reconstruction has terumi talking to little rags in that scene. and he says stuff like 'Oh yea, I cut off your arm' and shit.

So I dunno. Another possibility of the continuum shift.

Kind of weird seeing Funi keep the original term instead of using the localized term because IIRC, didn't they maintain Ars Magus as Jutsushiki in the first episode?

Has someone pointed this out to them?

Yea, even Hazama was surprised by how he just accepted it.

I hope they elaborate on that in CP because it makes Ragna eerily similar to Hazama, with both of them hating the world and how it works.

About Hazama and Ragna is simillar, Relius calles both of them "Ao no Otoko" (Man of Azure). The diffrence is the Kanji for "Ao", 蒼(Azure) for Ragna and 碧(Blue/Green) for Hazama.

Man, the only redeeming thing about that whole episode was "BINGOOO!" and that was Hazama and it's near impossible for him not to save an episode.

Can't wait for the next one, more lack of anything meaningful story-wise and ass animation on fight scenes lets go woooooo

To further your hype levels for the next episode as well I have included a comparison between a Noel frame of animation and a Rogno frame of animation (I don't need to say this but Noel = Left Rogno = Right)

Where did you even get that horrible thing?

This pretty much sums up my opinion of the episode lol

Best thing about the anime, is the dialogue they have during the preview of the next ep :V

I must say I rather enjoyed this episode. The pace has definitely improved and the music is still brilliantly executed. As everyone predicted, we'll get to CS soon enough. I think the next episode is gonna take care of the end of CT for the first half, and the second half would cover a bit of CS. That, or some of the characters we haven't seen yet will get some screentime, which I might like better actually.

Best parts:

1. Noel summoning Bolverk had some crazy-good animation. I wonder if they'll manage to do something on par with it by the end of the series

2. Jin's next episode preview. Lolz were had.

3.

So, miss any of last episode's stunning animation because

there were too many mistakes to count

it's amazingness utterly made your head spin? Don't worry! Here would be a gallery consisting of "best" moments from yesterday's highly acclaimed installment!

Particular highlights include:

* Hakumen's mountainous stature/blunt sword/tuning fork (or if you prefer, lightbulb filament) sword/onigiri head/exotic arm joints.

* Eyes. Seriously, what do these animators have against eyes.

* Slender Ragna.

* Slenderagna(/noel/nu).

* Mermaid/amputee Tsubaki.

* Azure Grimoire Spot The Difference (with additional DUAL WIELDING!).

That second picture is kinda lolzy. It's such a strange poke. I found it weird that they just dropped the Ragna vs Hakumen fight without showing the outcome. Then again we already know but it would've been nice to see it.

That's how it looks like in the game. Ookami has a blunt tip.

Didn't notice the in - game bluntness :v: . I'm pretty sure it doesn't look like a tuning fork/lightbulb filament though.

Hakumen doesn't even cut with his sword, he just smacks people with the blunt edge until they stay down.

Unsheathing a nodachi takes skill, that alone shows how qualified a swordsmen Hakumen is. In the anime it's evident that his sheath is just made of Ars since Ookami just "cuts" through it

Two episodes in and this adaptation already left a very bad taste in my mouth.

I can hardly get through this recent episode. Sucky pacing, inconsistent animation, horrible directing.

Good god man. If I wasn't a BlazBlue fan and was watching this from an anime viewer's perspective, I'd have dropped this show after watching episode 2.

Agreed. Jin's "Nii-san" had me rolling.
