I'm reaching that point where I'm asking why I should use this character. I don't think I've ever hit such a roadblock with a character in my lifetime that it's gone from being anger inducing to just hilarious.

Seriously, why would anyone use this character?

Because swag+waifu power+challenge

Because her fighting style is cool, and she's cute as fuck.

Real men endure the pain.

I've started pickin up Yuzu a bit, and I'm kinda on the fence about mainin her or Nanase lol. Anyway, execution with her doesn't really seem to be an issue, but confirming seems to be difficult. Like I was lookin through the combos for 5A starters, amd all of them required auto-piloting from 5A>5C>236A. Is there a more pressure friendly confirm for a 5A hit? Don't care if the damage is meh, I just wanna confirm properly lol. So far I've only been doin like 5A>2B>2C>4C>j.B>j.2C>j.C>66C>421AD for 2k, but not fitting amy sephiroth action in their makes me sad

It doesn't help netplay is our worst enemy when it comes to combo execution.

Netplay is the worst enemy of this -game-.

The game is really solid, but the second you introduce lag, glhf dealing with the person with bigger normals/specials. GRIM REAPAH is fine when I can outspace it or block while running, but hit that magic threshold (probably over ~3f of delay), and everything that big is gggggggggggggggggggggggggg

i think stuff like 5a>5b>5c>2c>4c>236a>214ad/214b~d>d.c>j.236a~b is pretty netpray safe, gives you years to confirm and pretty retarded damage

Yeah netplay is no bueno for Yuzu, any lag easily messes up slide holds and D cancels.

It's my only option for right now so I'll have to hold dat :|

You guys might crucify me for this but I think this character is easy outside of learning how to open people up, how to move in Neutral, and how to get out of pressure. Her confirms and combos aren't even hard, she just can't be braindead with them. >.>

Please don't hurt me.

So, has anyone made any headway on frame data? I often feel like my moves are slow and unsafe but I want to make sure before jumping to conclusions.

Also, I feel I should bring up something which has yet to be adressed. That being, best costume. My vote goes to Golden Done, though Shrine Maiden is also pretty good. An honorable mention goes out to Successful Black for the best name of all the costumes.

That's actually what makes her hard, lol. Her combos aren't bad at all, but opening up people with her can be a bit abstract.

Also, I use colour palette #20! It's the best one! And I mean that non-ironically!

I've been struggling with some of her combos :v

Probably more just me not being that familiar with fighting games + learning stick though...

Still having fun though, even though I've been getting bodied terribly online. Definitely sticking with Yuzu

I've been using palette #2, looks like Kanzaki Kaori from Index lol

Her combos are relatively difficult online as the lag really affects her bad.

Best palettes: Golden Done, Heliconiaceae

Also, I haven't had too much trouble opening people up. It's definitely not as easy as other characters that possesses command grabs or overheads, but it's definitely doable. Just have to condition them into pressing buttons with your combo-able throw and go with ~3.2k frame traps from there.

Is this a glitch? I'm doing (for lols)

Point Blank:
236A > 214A+D > 2C > 4C > stuff

For the 214A+D, I have to hit D again because it's just putting her back into stance. Wat.

It works with 214B as well. and refreshes all buttons. Wattttttttt

This is letting me do stuff like 236A > 214A+D > 236A > 236B > 236A+D

I -think- that depends on A+D timing? I was doing 236B > 236B > 214B+D and sometimes I find myself in stance after 214B+D sometimes not...

Still curious whether this D bonus attack mechanic was intentional from the start or how it even works game engine wise.

I really shouldn't have tried practicing with her at 10am, around 12 I just passed out lol.

I'm really torn if I should learn her harder combos, or just stick the netplay safe ones.

The combos aren't that hard, everything else you named is the problem.

If you're mostly netplaying, it's kind of a no-brainer to learn the netplay safe ones.

Spend the time you'd spend learning the harder ones learning to pressure, confirm, etc.
