Shitty weather and shitty overtime homework. F this shit, I'm going to be glad once Uni is over. Also lol @my 13h workday now. I'm so tired. I want to sleep, but my homework needs to get done. FFFFFUUUUUUU I want to get in some BB. ;_; -

Lol Pedro, fail text was fail. :P Nini, you should have hassled them over the phone. They'll usually reduce the bill if you do that. Also, how the hell do you go over 300gb in one month? I don't even crack 1/10th of that and that's between me and my brother... -

Haku's fastest poke (5a) is 5f. 2a is 6f. His hop is 5f. Jump is 4f. So jump is the clear-cut option... I guess I'll go for that now. >_> ----- Anyway, last I played him, my Valk's been coming along. I can finish simple combos in training and sometimes in matches. I'll be going into his better stuff... when I can, and I'll practice dat Wolf movement and approach stuff. -
BlazDrunk is a bit more derivative from the main game, but it's still pretty good if I do say so myself. :P Anyway, GJ on the updates Eb. I should catch up on the CS2 Haku vids. I haven't watched anything in a couple weeks.

Oh you gaiz. Haz can throw out his command throw on your recovery so you can't do any of those options. For ex., neutral tech is 32f and Fangs is 12f startup. Well, get Fangs going when there's 9f left on Ntech and you can't escape it. What I'm saying is that a perfectly timed command throw is inescapable. -

What I mean is that Hazama can react to your wakeup and activate Fangs as you recover. How do you escape that (aside from burst)? That's what I meant since you could of course otherwise poke/jump/hotaru. Oh. I didn't know that. -

Yeah, it's e'ffed up, but what stops Hazama from doing command grab on oki everytime? Haku can't escape it, and that's my point. Take Jayoku, let him spend the meter, then roll out again. Haku does indeed have 12k hp, so he can take it. Still down for the converter if you're wondering. As for Haku, check him out in play first. His meter gain/damage output got nerfed so he's not really a powerhouse anymore. His meter management is supposedly a bit on the extreme side, but that was a report from months ago, so it might be different now. Haku can be pretty fun, I'm just not sure if it still applies to his CS2 self. OH MY GOD WHAT HAPPENED?! Is the man too poor now? Guys, we have to start a rescue fund! We can't let our Brice fall back into the Dark Ages! Help a man keep his hype meter alive! -

Note for Haku matchup: I don't know of any way for him to escape Haz's command throw in the corner aside from rolling out... This is why I roll out 80% of the time even if I have to take a Jayoku for it. -

Oh God I suck oh god what was that oh god... ;_; Kirb, get that Ps3 converter asap. My play was abysmal. Except for the last round where I go SSJ Mugen. That was pringles by principle. I think you don't need much in the titles. Keep e'm short, but descriptive. Take a look at how I do it in my channel. Neat and to the point. Also, part 1 of my matches was mistakenly named "part 2", so I rectified that. Otherwise, great job. The channel is filling up nicely. :] -

JF, I'll pay half. Buy the converter, and I'll chip in when I see you next time. And yeah, can't make it this thursday. My car's in the garage anyway so I couldn't come even if I wanted to. Yay, my matches got uploaded. Checking e'm out asap. Thanks man. :D -
Thanks man, I'll get to work on these.

Oh lol, I was only part-time for my job before... You could say I'm now full-time. But it does mean I can't make to today's meet. Nini, are you uploading everyone's matches? I'd like to review ours if possible... -

That's fine by me. I might not be able to make it tomorrow, actually, but in the event I do make it, 3:30-4pm is good. Something quite unexpected happened to me last week (job related), so my schedule is now *completely* filled up during weekdays. I'm not sure I'll be able to meet you guys outside of Sundays now, and I'll still have to leave early even then. -
Legit Mugen / 6c FC setup is the only thing that comes to mind. @Nini on IB -> 2a: Not quite right. Gurren is a lv4 move, so it has 16f of blockstun, or 11f on IB. This effectively makes it a frame trap with the use of Renka, Enma, and (TK or Hop) Hotaru.
-
Yup, going to have to eat my words on my last post in this thread. This is an even matchup. I'm going to have to learn this matchup properly now. Nini, note on your info stuff: - IB -> 2a works on Gurren because I wasn't using it as a frame trap. It cancels into any special of his. Also, I think the neutral game is .5 Haku favor here simply because of the range on his normals. Play me when I can use a Ps3 pad, and we'll see if I'm right on this one.
-
So I'm finally going to get down and learn this guy, which I should've done months ago, lol. Could anyone point me to the optimal bnbs I should get down? Also, messing around in training, I got: 2c CH -> 236b -> RC -> 2c -> 6b -> etc. Does wicked damage and looks cool. 6b looks like it won't hit, but it extends pretty far.

I think we only need one of those since it has two usb ports unless we plan on accommodating more than one xbox. Whoops, missed this. I'm free... *checks* When finals are done? I dunno, lol. The next couple of weeks ramp up the school work, this Sunday might be my last meet in a while. -

Great meetup last night guys. :D - Brice, that must have sucked. I thought you were supposed to leave at 5pm? - JF, awesome matches, man. I think I'm getting the hang of IB'ing Rachel's strings. Watch your back, I'm climbing. Also, if you're going to get a converter, I wouldn't mind paying half. Gotta subsidize Ps3 pad players. (I also think one converter of the type your friend had is enough to let more than 1 pad player play on the same xbox, right?) - Nini, our last match needs to be uploaded. I'll fight you 100% once I get my mits on a converter. The Ps2 pad feels so weird for playing FGs and I was doing stuff I normally wouldn't. D: - Pedro, it's ok. It was still fun and we got some vids out of it. I'll watch them for studying purposes, but I don't expect to be impressed. >_> - Eb, good matches. It's odd finally playing against Hakumen with another character. This is now my weirdest matchup because I have all the theory behind it, but no exp. It's like getting your Uni diploma, and trying to get a career. All theory and no experience. :D - GGs to Vice, beast Litchi as always. We need to play more matches so I can learn how to deal with her better for when LK comes to town. Yay for Burger de Ville and me turning into an occasional meat-eater. I don't mind pepperoni/bacon/patties as much since it tastes good and it's processed. Anything else is... nope. I can't really stand the idea that I'm eating something that used to live. It's... It's so cruel. It's such a violent dish. I just can't do it. ;_; I'll probably be available for Sunday's meet, too. Lets get in some good matches again. -

Fear not, Brice. I, Knight of H., shall be there before 5pm. Enjoy your family visit! I owe you anyway for helping me out previously, so it's the least I can do. :P Only a nigga would believe in violent diplomacy. First salvo... shot! Now Omar needs to pick up. -

Yay, Vice is coming. I can technically be there before 5, but it's not optimal for me. Can someone else be there before 5? If not, then I guess I'll head over... So yeah, I'm staying later than 5, lol. I need to learn those top-tier door-closing skills. They'll come in handy when walking out on my future wife. -

Eh, it was only a matter of time. I guess it's time to beef up security on the ol' Mac. OS 9 is no longer natively supported. Probably me. -

Pedro, I would suggest first talking with Cranky about what you intend to do, then do a backup of everything before going to town if you really want to go at it. Is the problem specifically with the software, or is there some hardware malfunction? Macs are better than PCs in some respects, such as stability, ease of use, and yes, overall design of both software and computer case ('cause they're purrty. ). I've always found Windows a bit clunkier and less intuitive than OS X. But as far as practicality goes, they're both roughly equal since they can both do pretty much the same thing (though Mac just does it better. ). I'm not a fan of Apple's closed-system mentality, though. I much prefer Google's Android openness in this respect. Note: I've been with Mac since the Apple II so ya'll know I'm Hardcore about Mac, not like these newfangled iPhone hipsters. Trash, the lot of e'm! *Cue everyone in the community quickly hiding their iPenis iDevices* <3 Exams are taking way too much of my time, I'm not gonna make it to the meet ups this week either, plus I'm getting my wisdom teeth pulled out this weekend so forget about next week, FML. I'm craving for some BB... Oooh, yeah, that's not fun for a couple days. Try some blended pizza, it's actually pretty good. Add in a bit of V8 juice and it's a treat. -

@Kaeru: What's the artwork, anyway? Or are you keeping that under wraps? I'm interested in seeing what the local graphic designer can come up with. :] I missed this from all the joy being spread. I'm very much down for it. Long, extended sessions with max round settings (or simply sitting in training mode) just for the sake of brute force training. We could also add in small discussion sessions to break down matchups so we all level up. Then when we go and challenge NY, we aim for the top spot. I don't know about anyone else, but I like the idea. :P
