  1. Pretty sure none of use use Ragna on a frequent basis. :s After this week, I'll be back~ Also, League of Legends is fun-ish. Didn't someone at Frigid's place play it? I'll have to pick up some tips.
  2. This indeed... But convenient segue. Someone at my college who plays Brawl a lot (trying to get him into BB) told me about a game store near UTD/CCCC that frequently holds Brawl tournaments. After exams I plan on calling him up to see about organizing some type of BB event to draw some people in. The place is called FX Game Exchange and it's off of Parker and Custer. Anyone familiar with the place itself/owner or anything?
  3. I'd take you up on copypasta-ing dat but my 1TB external is full... with other anime :8/:
  4. Uh, maybe at odd angles or if your falling hitbox is huge (Arakune, Tager ect.) but in most situations it blue beats. It usually happens when people try jumping when you're trying to keep them on the ground blocking.
  5. I'll check the dates and if others are going, I'll at least be there for the venue. Might not have sticks. :\ Real talk, if it doesn't have that guy with the freaky arms I'm not hype. ...I need to finish that series some day.
  6. Mmmmm Can't really say there's anything like that. Semitsu isn't super concave though. I can't say I've felt too much a difference between them and Sanwas in that respect. In other news, I did some a diggin' and it seems this SRK user had OSBCs a while back. You could ask if he still has any. Edit: Damn my lazy ass got ninja'd.
  7. Ah I see. I thought those buttons were odd when I saw them last time. Now I know why. Thanks for that. Also, shoutouts to slagcoin edits~
  8. Large mircroswitches from what? Like the ones that com in their joysticks normally?
  9. Well now hold up. I heard somewhere on SRK Tech Talk that you can replace the springs in Semitsu buttons with Sanwa ones so you basically have semitsu look - sanwa feel. I don't know the steps but I'm sure doing that would be much cheaper than buying transparent Sanwas. You (or I) could ask there for the details.
  10. Defiantly drop the AB BC ABC ect. Shortcuts like that actually make it harder for you because you have more buttons to memorize. With a simple A B C D layout like other users mentioned, you only have 4 buttons and some combination of those rater than 7 or 8 diffrent buttons spread across the stick. That sucks man. Best of luck though.
  11. Maybe show up early and ask to mess around with a stick for a while?
  12. You shouldn't feel a difference between consoles (lag ect.) The most important thing is to just hold the stick in whatever way is natural for you. I would much rather use stick instead of an unfamiliar pad.
  13. I would koogy, I would. But I'm poooooooooooooooor. When it's time for annual buy new shirts day I will return though.
  14. She just wanted in on the fun too~ I wouldn't actually use her. I'll be available next saturday probably. Exam weeks here are confusing.
  15. Probably an amarican style stick such as Happ or get whatever stick you want and change the spring.
  16. Real talk, I've done this and now I can last like 3 days off one Monster drink.
  17. Maybe a dead one.
  18. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure 6323 doesn't even work. At least not in BB/SF. 632 is read as half of a HCB...
  19. I'd have to disagree with that to an extent. This game got on Japanator and several other forums. Sure it's still a niche market but Recettear was completely unknown till CF localized it and now it's made 30k+ sales.
  20. Maybe a bit soon to be asking this but do you think we could pester anyone about getting an official US release, probably via download? I tried asking Carpe Fulgur who brought over Recettear, but they don't seem too interested. :\
  21. It most likely goes into one or all of the 4B combos already listed. The first hit of 4B wiffing shouldn't change much about how you combo after it.
  22. This made me laugh so hard. Because I watched this H animu just a few days ago.
  23. Uh... uh... uhh... :scared: Well, it sure looks for fun than SSF4. I just want to know if it's worth learning. Also, I almost never troll and when/if I do, you'll never notice it.
  24. Well, it sort of ends on a cliff hanger and in an episode before that Beato keeps pestering Battler to remember something he did 6 years ago that's relevant to the plot. It seems like they were going to do a season 2 but it just never happened. Someone said the dvd didn't sell even 1000 copies or something so that could be why.
  25. Will do. I'm guessing the VN actually explains some of the stuff left hanging in the anime too? (Battler's sin or w/e) If anything, the anime gave me a quick-trip through the characters so I'm content with that. Also, I'm looking at some vids of 3rd Strike from a-cho. Is it any good?
