I played like 4 matches against him Friday as Litchi and he got straight victories in all 4. I got close-ish in the 4th match, but I still walked away feeling fairly destroyed. I was kind of disappointed in the hotel aggreement to pay $150, if you broke the protection device in your room... Which caused alot of people who did not bring their own tv to be rusty, a great lack of hotel casuals, and imo, it made the experience not as good as it could have been. MvC2 players: Sorry, I don't know your names, but GG's nonetheless! To the guy who was hosting Marvel: Thank you for the tips, advice.. I really appreciate someone telling me what I did wrong and what I need to work on, rather than stupid "good for a girl" compliments, because I REALLY do need to get better. Fugee: It was nice seeing you again! I sincerely apologize for not being able to play our set; but I had to play in the Guilty Gear tournament... I really appreciate you inviting me and my sister into that room for Marvel casuals: GG's..! Those low tier-ish matches were really fun! Thanks. JWong: It was nice to see/talk to you again, and congrats on winning so many tournaments, as expected... Your Guilty Gear match Vs. Flash was epic..!(Too bad about the ragequit). The fact that FlashMetroid cheated his way through the bracket and splitting the pot of 1st and 2nd makes this tournament void. FlashMetroid should have been sent to loser's way early in the bracket. Justin was beating him and he ragequit and reset the game. However FlashMetroid convinced Justin to let him rock because they are friends. Luckily, Justin's niceness gave way and Flash went on and won. Is this fair? Does this make the tournament legit? I don't think so. Flash shouldn't have gotten any money. This GG tournament was a fraud. I can confirm that this happened. I'm the Sol player that played on the team with doren2k and the carl player who place fifth in blazblue. yeh flash soft reseted but him and justin are cool and he let it slide. Flash knows that justin really won and justin knows it too. Flash did no convincing. he didn't say anything cause he knew he was wrong for that shit. Justin said tell your friends on dustloop that flash soft reseted on me. To me it was just shit talk. they know that guilty gear is on its last legs so they decided to fuck around and be funny. no big deal. if justin really cared he would've call DQ right then and there. its the other players right to call or not to call DQ. yeh flash is retarded but that was justin's call. it really wasn't that big a deal. I REALLY wanted wes to beat xcross because him vs. Zoog/Ivysaur would have been insanely hype.

GG on friday and sat had 1 set up on like on a 13 inch the first day and like a 20 inch the second..it was hell waiting in line to play and if u lost u might as well go play something else cause u would be waiting probably about an hour to get another match..it was a good turn out but ALOT of GG people werent there. honestly i felt GG was overshadowed by blazblue and melty blood lol.

Well Blazblu knocked the Guilty Gear tourney into Sunday, and both Blazblu and Melty had more preregistered players. It also didn't help that GGAC had fewer setups for casuals than both games, and fewer TV's for tournament than BB (not sure how many setups there were for the Melty tourney). we only had 1 tv for two days =/ Yes and it didn't help that you had to bring your own TV to play in your room. Basically people need to stop bitching about how the Guilty Gear scene is dying and play the damn game.

Um, not to sound like a know-it-all, but about a week before FR, I had noticed that players were dropping out of MB on a daily basis; however, I did not check the list on Thursday... GG's to everyone that I played at FR (1 week too late FTL)...BTW, Sol is NOT my main. I know that it has been said many times before, but the lack of casuals/hotel matches obviously turned off/irritated many; I just hope that everyone was not too annoyed by me and Ky-Sama's GG set-up, LOL^_^ I never knew that a lack of casuals would cause so many players, including myself to be THAT rusty (dropping obvious, beginner combos ex: SW loop on Potemkin, block strings, etc)...It is a pity that even though I learned A LOT within the last 2-3 months, I played as awfully as I did a year ago, for reasons that I am not 100% certain of (of course, I blame the stick, myself, lack of casuals, but still). I am also VERY sorry if I appeared to be raging a bit over my stick (especially on Friday/Saturday)...It is just awfully irritating to have a stick that causes you to drop easy combos and/or moves, and not being able to dash, IAD and JI well most of the time. However, I still fail to understand why anyone would lose to me, but GG is like that, I suppose. Also, I am very sorry about having so many issues with my stick and holding up the matches..Still, it was great to play so many great players and also gain match up experience-- I truly appreciate it. Heidern98: Thank you so much for everything! It was great to finally see you for the first time since EVO 2008, and thanks again for allowing people to play GG casuals in our room (I wish more people would have played, though)-- you made the event so much better<3 It was also great to finally play your Ky, which is not bad AT ALL....You should seriously begin playing GG again-- your defense is Godlk. Props to ShinBlanka and Heidern98 for running Final Round and GGAC tourneys. Sucks that I couldn't stay for the singles tournament because of time restraints. Frank - so GGAC had 54 entrants, more than MB and BB?! GOOD! We as the Gear community need to make sure that Sunday tourneys for good games don't happen anymore. Gear needs to start on Friday/Saturday at Final Round or any other major tourney. Flash - good shit on OCVing Team Espada. Lol next time......next time.... TN - Tekken is too strong, but I agree with FlyMike. We do need to pick up Gear again AND start some more tourneys!
