I figured I'd get the ball rolling since we're being hopeful about all the changes that could happen, and while this may lead to dispute between fans and those who intimately know the game's older systems, it's best to keep that sorta thing in a topic such as this. And since I made the topic, I'll put my list of hopefuls here:

System: GG Generations

GG Mode (Faster Movement, Kakusei Mode, Dead Angles, Jump Cancel everything, Low Airdashes, Chargeable Specials, Charge Cancelling, Instant Kill "duelling", Instant Kill Cancelling, Breaker Dashing, Opponents get Green Burst in AC+ mode, Bursting Banned, Roman Cancels Banned, Forcebreaks Banned, Force Roman Cancels Banned, Classic GG Music Enabled)

Dust Striker Mode (platforming, 1-4 players online, players can join/leave at any time if you turn on the online option)

Darkside Mode (everyone, Infinite Tension, compatible with GG Gens + EX Mode but only in non-ranked matches)

Gold Mode (everyone, includes special 'Kakusei moves', compatible with GG Gens + EX Mode but only in non-ranked matches)

Kakusei Mode (similar to Gold Mode but removes Damage Modifiers to more closely resemble Unlimited Characters in BlazBlue matchups)

Online Matching (similar to how BlazBlue has things set up, including options to ban extra modes when creating a Lobby, and text/mic chat options)

3-on-3 Online Matching (similar to BlazBlue Lobby, including options to ban extra modes when making a lobby, and mic/text chat options)

Ranked Matching (standard rules that boosts a rank card)

Tournament Match (online tournament setup once a week or something)

3-on-3 Ranked Match (standard rules for 3-on-3)

Anyways, that's my wishlist...though it's a big one and a tad unreasonable, it's just to springboard this topic, since I know lots of people hope this game gets revised a lot from individual characters all the way to systems and GG Gens.

I don't expect any changes, except maybe rebalance for Justice and Kliff. The only system modes will be those which were included in the PS2 version. The same goes for extra modes, stages and music. My only wish would be OST from earlier games and Heavy Rock Tracks.

It is always nice to dream, but I can't imagine a job like this console port would pack anywhere near that level of content inside. I'm expecting Arcade, Story, Training, Survival, and hopefully a nice big gallery. I would also say that Online Matching and Ranked Matching can't really be considered "extra" modes these days. If you are releasing a fighting game on a console they are necessary. The only fighting game I can even think of on current gen consoles without online if VF5 PS3, and even that changed when it hit 360.

Well in case it magically does happen that arcsys checks here, they at least know what we want.

It really seems like it isn't used except as a last push for victory, or as the old Sol 101 thread says

Dragon Install (214214S) - This move is terrible and arguably THE worst OD in the game. It's not practical in any way, shape, or form. Sol's 6H is probably more useful than this move. While DI does temoparily make Sol go into "berserker" mode and gain meter over time, once this move is over Sol will lose any meter he's gained, and if he enters the recovery animation (kneels down and touches his head very briefly) he'll be close to a negative penalty and dizzy state afterwards. Only use this move if you want to mess around in casuals, want to look cool after winning a round and have 50% meter to burn, or are making a combo video.

ALL the stages even the ones from GGX+

and maybe those unseen outside of japan story modes from GGX+

Here are the only things I want

-Good online play.

-Update the fucking soundtrack, for God's sake. It's XX's 10th anniversary and it deserves an Overture-tier soundtrack worthy of the gods.

-If multiple soundtracks are included, use SC5-style music changer for them, make it per-character or matchup, and

-Maybe rebalance Kliff/Justice/EX Characters, make all of their bullshit stuff Gold Mode only.

-Put in a Challenge mode maybe for new players.

IMO Kliff and Justice need an EX Mode as well...they gotta get some respect.

Some ideas:

EX Kliff: Young Kliff Mode!!

--Make j.D act like Belial Edge

--Make Sole Survivor act like Deadspike

--Make his dragon-drop move (j.41236+S) be j.D instead.

--Make Reflex Roar a standard projectile, but make it so he has to charge it up to use it.

--Make his drill attack move upwards instead of horizontal for an anti-air.

--Replace his "swaback" (214+P) with a command throw or something.

EX Justice: GG Mode Justice!!!!

--Replace Saperia Trance Forcebreak with Imperial Ray (623+D)

--Give Justice a "Breaker Dash" like she had whenever she had 50% Tension

--Make Gamma Ray even MORE ridiculous

--Give her different kinds of Michael Sword strikes (floor slide, wall bounce, also a Diagonal one)

--Give Justice a Teleport move (think her Winpose)

--Give her a move where she plunges her fingers into the ground and generates a series of ground projectiles (like Valentine in GG2!)

Make Zappa's dog less retarded, make Forward Beast slightly - on normal block, give auto-JI to the moves that actually need it.

i sincerely hope that some of the people who posted their wishes here have their hopes in the right place, otherwise they would have a big dissapointment

many of that stuff seems ureasonable and very, very unlikely to happen

I'm aware mine are unreasonable, but that doesn't mean it can't feed ArcSys ideas further down the line. IMHO GGXXSlash giving players the option to pick #Reload characters was the greatest thing they could've possibly done for Guilty Gear. Like how SF Alpha Anthology and Darkstalkers Anthology lets you pick your favorite versions of characters.

That, and I also feel that GGX-era (read: Dreamcast era) sprites and sounds were superior to the compressed stuff in XX, so going back to that level of quality would be nice, along with a non-HD 4:3 display, for those of us who 1. don't own HDTVs or 2. like turning our PS3s into Arcade Cabs...lol

bro the sprites and sounds are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more compressed on the dreamcast era than the rescent ports of GGXX

hell the only thing compressed is the sound, and its barely noticeable than other games, ofthe same generation

I'd like to see some further rebalancing. Just tweaking, nothing major.

Selfishly, I'd like to not have to use j.P follow up after launchers with Baiken anymore. I don't dig the proration... or pro-rape-tion. An maybe youzansan as a ground special~ cuz I'm too crappy to do tkdp on my pad >_>;;
