Mucky Posted May 5, 2012 Posted May 5, 2012 It fucking blows my mind how I can play someone on the west coast, watch them do 20+ hit combos consistently while I'm reduced to a gibbering man-ape who can only combo 2 hits at a time.

I don't want to seem like I was lying, so i guess i want to specify and say i have played the game offline a bit with friends before I got it, and I have been watching a lot of videos in preparation for when I got online, along with playing training a lot, if you were wondering why i could do combos and knew some of those tricks that i have seen other jin players do. Thanks a lot for the games though, i wanted to try carl but i was worried i would get bodied since he is still in training.

At first I took your word for it about being "new to BB" and you were lv.1 so I backed off but that obviously wasn't the right choice. After that I automatically think you're someone's alt / someone who doesn't play online much and would've guessed someone in particular, but i'll take your word for it lol. BGs to lag, online and getting hit by random attacks even though I was pretty sure I countered them. Stay stupid online. GGs to being determined to step my game up this time.

Make sure you're not holding a direction when trying to tech out of combos It could be netplay, yeah, but like 99% of the time, when I fail to tech out it's because I was holding forward/back and forward/back tech is slower than neutral when teching out
