bakahyl Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 (edited) As for this old post http://www26.atwiki.jp/myuu12/pages/98.html 5c, 2c, jc is faster? I think thats what its saying There's something about 5b, 2b and j2c but i cant understand it 2c lost head invincibility http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_wYBMdH-4FQ&t=12m16s I think 2c still has head invulnerability, otherwise i can't imagine a late 2c winning against j.c edit: especially because 2c will make Mu's hurtbox larger to the point as if she was standing Edited February 10, 2013 by bakahyl

Maybe the hitbox/hurtbox changed, or the source might of had the wrong impression... There are days when I feel like 2c's head invuln is a lie, in EX. I'll take ten. you sure about that? you can see the price on this shot : http://img7.imageshack.us/img7/4319/hipsb.jpg
Tecta1Eastside Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 I thought 2c in cp didnt have any head invincibility frames or maybe it just lost some more frames. I know the other mu-12 player did their Jc too early cuz the hitbox wasnt even about to hit the mu-12 that their 2c. I'll use 6a since its not as risky and give about the same dmg. I'm sorry but I dont like mu-12 enough to have a figure of her and that price:(
Lord Pwnge18 Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 I'm rather curious if they sculpted her breasts underneath like they did with Makoto's figure I'd still be more than happy to shell out $150~ for that, though.
00Bubbles00 Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 (edited) Here are more photos and info about it... made by Freeing so it should be pretty easy to get. I'll post it when it comes on pre-order. http://myfigurecollection.net/item/144344 photo of underboob http://s1.tsuki-board.net/image/600/BlitzAce1360501624.jpeg Edited February 10, 2013 by 00Bubbles00
bakahyl Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 While i haven't been fighting against really tough hakumen's these days, i am still bothered by the fact that i can't think of any oki's and setups against him, especially when i get him in the corner. Because of any of his counters and hotaru, the only thing i have been doing is a j.2c knockdown and a charged 6d. So is there something better?

Meaty throw -> Late Meaty Stein is all you have that beats all of Hakumen's options.
bakahyl Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 Tried meaty throws and i have seen them teching them, use hotaru or air counter
mAc Chaos Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 There isn't any setup that works in 100% situations. Or at least, that isn't the usual scenario. You just have to go with what you think will work best on the particular player.
C0R Posted February 12, 2013 Author Posted February 12, 2013 Tried meaty throws and i have seen them teching them, use hotaru or air counter If you're timing your stein correctly it will always hit them out of jump startup. Hakumen has no reversal options vs this callout.
mAc Chaos Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 How does it work? Do a stein blast + throw at the same time?
C0R Posted February 12, 2013 Author Posted February 12, 2013 (edited) How does it work? Do a stein blast + throw at the same time? Throw hits meaty, stein hits a frame or two after the throw. If he gets thrown the stein will whiff, if he tries to jump the throw will whiff because he's in jump startup, but he'll get hit out of jump startup before it completes by the stein. Well now that I think about it, you could jump during your very first frame of wakeup, then jump cancel cancel into yukikaze before the stein hits you. Assuming you have literal 1f timing. mAc Chaos Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 What if he doesn't tech, or rolls. Or techs late.
C0R Posted February 12, 2013 Author Posted February 12, 2013 What if he doesn't tech, or rolls. Or techs late. The stein is coming out regardless, you have plenty of time to react to his tech choice and choose accordingly. Hell you can whiff 2b on his wakeup, if he rolls or doesn't tech it will pick him up. If he neutral techs it will whiff and you can still meaty throw.
mAc Chaos Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 I'm not sure if you can jump cancel cancel into Yukikaze, but I see the rest of your point.
C0R Posted February 12, 2013 Author Posted February 12, 2013 I'm not sure if you can jump cancel cancel into Yukikaze, but I see the rest of your point. Unless it has some kind of unique engine-breaking property, you can.
