I wasn't quite sure where to ask this, but I figured it would be fine here. If not, I apologize.

I seem to be having trouble placing a Stein after a HJC.2C...For example, the most basic one; Throw > 5C > 2C > HJC > j.2C > 5D. I never seem to have enough space to place the Stein and if I delay too long then it's a recover.

Do you mean the stein isn't coming out at all or that you're having a bit of trouble linking 2b after placing the stein?

The stein won't come out at all. Err, maybe I should state that I'm asking in regards to Chronophantasma? I wasn't sure if this needed to be stated or not. ><

That helps identify the issue a bit.

From what I know j.2c has less "momentum prevention" in CP. Basically Mu falls a bit while doing it now.

Attempting to cancel into stein may very well be impossible at the minimum height, which could be worked around via superjumping before j.2c or just waiting for her to get a bit higher before using j.2c.

I've came to that conclusion as well, but whenever I see it..Both video and at the arcades, they don't seem to be any higher than when I jump. So I keep thinking it's a timing issue.

Just to rub it in nemesis's face I got 4 CHARGED steins to hit in a midscreen CSX combo now :3

Now if only it was actually able to be pulled off reasonably often on netplay.:vbang:

Did Mu's j.c lost the 4 frames of landing recovery ? (something which is also absent in the wiki)

I noticed a non CH j.c > 5c combo connecting.

Normally j.c is a lvl 3 attack (which gives 17f hitstun in the air) and 5c has 12f startup. Even with a landing recovery of 4f on j.c, it was still possible in Extend to connect with a 5c (by 1f) if you were very low. But i noticed a very small dash before the 5c in the video , which might suggest that there was more time than 1f.

J.c's air untechable time is actually exactly the same in both games at 23 frames.

Which means that it was always possible in extend if you are low enough, interesting.

So about the landing recovery of j.c? Has that been removed or was it an error in the wiki.

I don't believe it's mentioned in the cp mook. Can't access the scans atm.
