Love watching people salty about Azrael. Makes my day. In general, everyone has to block more. Mashers will mash regardless of the character. And no I won't continue to IB shitty mixups consisting of telegraphed gatlings for the 60th time in a match. I will 360/backdash the living hell out of you until you learn how to counter it.

 

Not sure what they're gonna do with Growler but it's not gonna affect every matchup the same. It's practically useless in the Hakumen matchup for example. 

 

Also how is the Leopard Launcher wallstick gonna affect him I wonder. Does that mean no more RC IAD combos? Not sure how wallstick works anymore. So it's like CS1 -> CS2 Bang transition :v: ?

Why would they ever give Tager useable tools other than to take them away in the next patch?

 

some invul or gp for the hammer cancel of vc would be nice too, but oh well, we can always go back to our higher tier/better matchup alt

If I'm understanding this google translate properly, the new guard cancel overdrive was added because they originally wanted people to take advantage of OD's invincibility to disrupt pressure but a lot people didn't bother because they would accidentally get a regular burst instead. So they added a guard cancel. Interesting change. I'm curious to see what they think of it at the loctest this week.

In the interview, they gave the example of Ragna doing 2a 6b. After blocking Ragna's 2a, you can guard cancel overdrive and interrupt it.

I'd say part of the fun is knowing your favorite character is able to beat another character. Feeling accomplished I guess. Like, lets say your character has 25 out of 26 bad MUs, you think the people playin thid character are gonna have "fun"?

I'm not sure if it's a company-wide philosophy, but I recall an interview with Daisuke where they said they made certain characters in GG intentionally weaker for people who like to play the underdog. "As long as you get rewarded for investing in a character, it's fine if they're weaker" or something along those lines. I'm guessing BB also has a similar approach, but the disparity between character capabilities just seems larger. I guess if you have fun winning, you shouldn't pick the weaker character?

Where are people getting these other sources of information from? Was there another interview outside of the famitsu one or has the loketests literally started on the 7th for Japan?

Some reports are saying Litchi got buffed. Apparently she has her 1.0 OD back so you can mash out the inputs again.

CP 2.0 needs to nerf Litchi and Hazama. Nerf Makoto and Tager even further. Buff Carl and give him 10,000 life and let me combo from Cantabile again.

 

I'm sorry, did I just basically read "nerf my bad matchups for me and buff my character because I say so"?
