Honestly, it's been so long with CS Extend and my memory is hazy of its development and release, I just can't recall all the details. Guess we will see now how it goes.

Too much money spent lately and I need to save some money for my PS4 and an arcade stick for that upcoming mainstream game. I just see this as a robbery. Personal opinion! As much as I love Blazblue and Arcsys, even Capcom give us more options. Arcade Edition was free and Ultra was only 15 dollars for update and we get a funny free Omega mode. Yeah BBCP 1.1 was free but it was an balance update. And I think many people will keep playing BBCP 1.1 after April. I will watch all the videos but I will keep playing BBCP 1.1 online, GGXrd and USF4. I won't support this kind of behaviour.

After 5 updates or so with them showing no sign that they understand and want to address the issues with my character, I may just decide that they don't need any more of my money. On the other hand, if this is a full release, it means they have no excuse for not including the fancy lobby features that they added to Xrd (and, ideally, improving on stuff again. I mean seriously guys, why the %$^*%^$ did you remove "train while waiting for opponents" from player match?) Y'know, the more I think about it, the more I remember that CP is actually a crap release from an actual port perspective. Maybe they can get one more chance out of me if they demonstrate that they really want to do this one right.

In one hand, it's not too bad for those who didn't pay for the DLC characters but the ones who did are getting fucked. I'll probably still be a sucker and pay the full $40 for the game, if only because BB it's my main fighting game. I bought P4A, P4U and UMvC3 at full price (fucking 60 dollars) and barely touched them so I guess I won't be too mad with this future purchase.

I'm not paying full retail for the same game I bought a year ago, with even less tweaks other than two new characters. Now if its an actual real fucking update, maybe, But if it's just 2.0 as it is now, fuck thaaaaaat. And honestly, I think an update to Xrd would have more to offer than what CPE is selling.

And I think many people will keep playing BBCP 1.1 after April. To be fair, I think the Super > AE update wasn't free, but AE > AE 2012 was, and that was just balance patch as well. Giving out Omega mode for free was a pretty nice thing to do, but not a norm I'd expect from a business. That said, it'd be nice if there were additional characters announced between now and release. Will be looking forward to the additional details in a couple days.

Mmm, not sure if I can shell out $60 anymore just for a chance to play new Plat/Jin and get bopped by ez-mode Nu. I guess I should start learning how to play P4U at least and keep on playing Xrd until a price drop.
