  1. you mean the ones that can finish combos ohhhhhh
  2. Character balance at the top level of play is insignificant compared to each player's matchup knowledge and individual skill, as proved time and time again :|
  3. no be ashamed of yourself this thread sucks apart from first post, closed
  4. 0 eddie 0 slayer 0 jam 0 baiken :[
  5. jump around hit some balls do some damage
  6. Seeding top players away from each other stops the strongest players and players from the same area from playing really early in tournament brackets, this is desirable for many reasons. 1. During the first few rounds of brackets, usually you want to get everything out of the way as soon as possible and it's very difficult for anyone participating to watch another match since they'll likely be up soon. (bad for anyone who wants to watch) 2. It prevents the majority of would-be-seeded players from being stuck in hell brackets when one or two others might be in an extremely easy one (lol A), which gives much more of an advantage to those lucky individuals than seeding players away from each other ever would. 3. By preventing people from lucking out with a really easy bracket you also prevent completely skewed tournament results that don't really reflect how well someone played. 4. If new players join a tournament, there is no reason to match them up against other new players to begin with just so they have a chance to win a few in winners bracket, it ruins the quality of the tournament all around (in the US we almost always have losers bracket making this even less of an issue) It's not a question of giving an advantage to anyone, these players would end up playing seeded players later anyways, having them spread out make it fair for everyone. If a player believes they have as much chance to win as seeded players, there should be no problem because once they beat the seeded player in their pool, they will be in the same boat as the rest. Honestly, why wouldn't you seed?
  7. It's supposed to be bad, im sure 7:3 is an overexaggeration though. It is may... she'll always have a decent chance unless aba's hitbox ruins like every combo she has Moroha I would have liked to play you at evo :\ I didn't play any GG outside of tourney though.

make sure you're not too low to the ground, superjumping might help i don't remember reload very well though lol
  9. Anything following 2c is unsafe (less so with 50%), you generally should not be following it up with anything.
  10. Have to adjust to how the Tager plays. If he plays dangerously so you can hit with 3c you can take 5k+ easily so abuse that. If not, try not to get magnetised and watch for his backdash. Obviously don't get hit by his projectile either.
  11. Ogawa is just modest
  12. Sweet, thanks a lot. Oh yeah, when you AC them in hyakuretsu does it prevent both of you from gaining meter back? I recall hearing them say that in TRF when people start doing bounce from AC. Also, why do you cross back up into the corner combo against Raoh after bnb with iad j.c? You can go to the standard cross-screen hyakuretsu much easier by slightly delaying your 5a to hit them lower, delaying your j.236c after a higher 5a 623a, or you can even go straight to 623a (both hits backward, probably the easiest in terms of height)
  13. can anyone list some of the common enders to high hyakuretsu (5a run 5a after ~40 hit c shoryu boost bu-n or shield) not sure where to go from there does anyone know the trick to crossing some characters up in the corner off normal bnb?
  14. play v-13.. Really though noel is always going to struggle against arakune. You can only be a threat up close and getting there will be incredibly difficult even against an average arakune. If you let him curse you for free it's almost unwinnable. Pretty much the only way to deal with him is staying on him once you're in.
  15. this game is fun
  16. whoah this is where the drama is im down for money matches too!!
  17. Square gate is the norm, people switching over from american sticks usually find octagon easier but after switching american->octagon->square myself, I'd never go back. Square gate makes a really distinct difference between diagonals and sides, in the end I think it makes inputting easier/more efficient
  18. nicovideo "blazblue" nicovideo "blazblue" in Japanese nicovideo "Noel" in Japanese There are three numbers associated with each video (views, comments, mylists), going by number of mylists compared to amount of views/comments is usually a good way to find videos worth watching.
  19. yeah he is unexpectedly badass
  20. it's not retarded, it is just very unforgiving slayer's damage balances out with his range and movement, every character has flaws
  21. youzansen mixup with no tension is the only time you should end your combos in youzansen, lol
