Star-Demon Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 I definitely think a patch that improved netcode and added actual rooms would do a lot for the game and people like me that are getting into KoF outside of "Oh hey look what's in the PS2" play.

kazukifafner Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Decided to form an alternate team (Daimon, Andy, King) so I could get more experience with different characters. Plus, it's always nice to have something in your back pocket, lol. @Star-Demon I would focus mostly on getting down basic combos. You should also really work on approaches (I'm in the exact same boat, lol). You never seem like you have control of the match/situation except for a couple times when you had your opponent in the corner.

Well aren't you nice. ^_^ First the good, SNK is still working tirelessly on the netplay patch,allowing new funtions and even fixing rare bugs and glitches. I wonder what this means. Atlus hopes to appeal to fans with a special discount on the download content at $2.99 for a special time upon release. Neat.

I'm going to be rocking around the Christmas tree (and Mexicans) all week with these palettes.

Any match I record with us is either completely pointless or, if I win, completely fraudulent. Don't you think so? If you want, upload one of our 80 matches where I get flattened and look like a complete noob, well, because I am, but I don't know what you have to get out of it. All of your characters have anti-airs, you gotta use them when the other player's hopping around. I wasn't aware that I was the only person that's playing with you in KoF.

Misunderstandings - whaddayaagonna do? Well, I seem to be most comfortable AAing with Mature and Mai so far. Both have standing or crouching Cs that work well to shut down space, and I've been trying to use them to corner people. With Vice it's supposed to be Standing D or Crouching C...but I'm not used to it, yet. One's short and one looks slow. As for being more aggressive - I don't think that works well at my level. I should be focused on defending myself and learning how to find openings and learn how players actually play characters. I tend to be defensive, anyways, so maybe I just need to change things up, but I see that as requiring skills I don't have right now.
natearistata Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Pretty sure they mentioned part of the 'more functions for netplay' part, letting you set a minimum connection req when creating a ranked match, since that was previously impossible.
