Zuranamee Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 It's better than no access. Pretty much this. Until recently we had to deal with the possibility of not having our characters at all. A little wait won't kill us.
Starlight777 Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Yeah let's just be happy our favorite robo-girls made the roster. Sure we'll have to wait a bit longer for footage of them, but hey at least they are in the game.
Mightfo Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Why are people acting like this is a new concept or the end of the world? CT did the same thing with Nu before, this is nothing revolutionary. Nu and Mu players will be able to live without them for awhile. 'cause all the characters are being changed, not like these two are new, so it is strange that these two are being finished separately
Dagon Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Hmm... I just looked at the pics of Nu and Mu... I'm really liking the way Mu's steins look now [and they do look likr Dizzy's fish] As for Nu I'm excited as always but... there's one part I couldn't understand... "Drive 'Sword Summoner' New is their ability to inject the sword ranged attacks from the air. You will be able to ward off an opponent if dismissed without mastering the missile of them! ?" What in the world does that mean? Is it just telling us stuff about her drive that we already knew or is this something completely new to her drive? That's just machine-translation induced wackiness as far as I can tell, they just give a quick run-down of her drive on the Famitsu page. Should be more like: "Nu's drive Sword Summoner, shoots blades from thin air, allowing long ranged attacks. Using them you can keep your opponent away!?" Or some-such.
Zeromus_X Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 I was a little worried about Mu/Nu balancing since they didn't get loketested, but if they're going to handle it like P4A (time release + a small update if some things become too silly) then I guess that's fine. I'm more curious now if there'll be an actual new boss character.
Starlight777 Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Probably not seeing how they want this game out by the end of November.
Orihalcon Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 'cause all the characters are being changed, not like these two are new, so it is strange that these two are being finished separately Who says they're being finished separately? That's just an assumption on a lot of people's part, and a wild one at that. Hakumen and Nu, and in the case of P4U, Elizabeth and both Labrys's were all finished before they were player unlocked. They were just secret characters the player did not have immediate access to. This is more than likely the same case. I don't even know why anybody thinks that them being finished separately is even remotely possible with just how far-fetched it is. Back on the topic, I wonder if Nu will get the same hate she did in CT. Probably likely, if only because people hate on Murakumos whenever they can.
Tokkan Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 I wouldn't completely rule out that possibility of another character, but that's approaching speculation territory which was just outlawed recently. You should just stop that discussion right there.
Starlight777 Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 As long as Nu can still zone effectively, people will hate her.
ElegantShadow Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Um... this is a little of topic I know and it may be a little early to ask this, but is there any info on whether Unlimited modes will be in CP?
Vulcan422 Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Not yet. However, they did reveal that Beginner Mode's indication follows the same principle as Unlimiteds now (character name glows green for Beginner instead of pink for Unlimited).

As long as Nu can still zone effectively, people will hate her. Good points. Why learn to fight against her zoning properly when you can just hate?
Tokkan Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Didn't mean to imply that; if I ended up doing that then it's because I wrote something wrong. Oh sorry, I was replying to Zeromus and Starlight.
Orihalcon Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Oh sorry, I was replying to Zeromus and Starlight. No worries man; my fault for not realizing you meant them.
Circuitous Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Why are people acting like this is a new concept or the end of the world? CT did the same thing with Nu before, this is nothing revolutionary. Nu and Mu players will be able to live without them for awhile. We were hoping they'd learned their lesson, I suppose. Foolishness on our parts!

Speaking of which, what if someone chooses to play an Unlimited char in Beginner mode?
BlackYakuzu94 Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Speaking of which, what if someone chooses to play an Unlimited char in Beginner mode? The game probably explodes from the amount of broken.
Elochai Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Wasn't beginner mode ass? IIRC, you couldn't burst, and you always had to barrier guard. You also couldn't do mixups and such.
Nemesis Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 you obviously havent seen metalsonics tager --- on another note : this may be back a bit but Im curious-- did they fart on hazama's drive chains? can I get a bit of clarification on that please?
SoWL Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Wasn't beginner mode ass? IIRC, you couldn't burst, and you always had to barrier guard. You also couldn't do mixups and such. They promised to change beginner mode in some way, so that might change.

CupofT Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Wasn't beginner mode ass? IIRC, you couldn't burst, and you always had to barrier guard. You also couldn't do mixups and such. Yup, preset combos too. Just sit in front of a screen mash A or B and stuff happens.
Agni Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 As long as Nu can still zone effectively, people will hate her. I've always considered zoners to be the ultimate scrub killers, they get so much undeserved salt thrown their way.
Manta Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 I've always considered zoners to be the ultimate scrub killers, they get so much undeserved salt thrown their way. It's more the ultra-specialised that do that. Any character that requires match up knoweldge to beat properly to beat a Scrub. Tager, Nu and Hakumen are all examples.
Agni Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Yeah, that's my point. You can't just run up and mash buttons on a zoner. So scrubs hate them and call them cheap even though simple MU knowledge and skill would seriously help.
