Can anyone translate the options in this screen? Maybe there's some interesting settings:

post-29265-139515175384_thumb.jpg

All I can tell on my own is:

Room Name

Room Type (Dunno what that entails)

(Assuming: Number of Players)

(Assuming: Number of Spectators)

3 options afterwards that default to "No/None"

Don't know what the last option is.

The last one should be Auto-pass. Maybe that the player auto-passes if hes inactive for a few secs.

The second and third options with "none" look like "Network Color (Connection) Restriction" (1 bar, 2 bar, etc.) and maybe "Continuous Play Limit", but not sure on the first one.

"Number of Spectators" is the wrong assumption, it's actually the "Number of Invite-Only Player Slots" option.

You can set yourself to automatically pass in Extend. You'll have an eye icon next to your name where the 1P/2P marker goes. It's probably allowing or disallowing that.

Hmm, is there no option for Spectator settings then? That makes me hopeful that maybe they've shoehorned that into Auto-Pass just like P4A.

? That's just for spectating. Auto-Pass is a feature in P4A. I don't think it's in Extend (unless I've been missing something amazing for my entire CSE experience)

*sigh*

My thoughts whenever I watch Bullet footage...

I don't think I've been this depressed since CS Tsubaki... CP2, when!? ; -;

lol, meant to post this in the Bullet thread last night = w=

Not their fault they have no way to practice stuff.

I dunno, especially with CP having arcade training mode and that in the arcade scene trial by fire is to be expected and it's been like 1/2 a year.

Comparing how underwhelming Bullet is to how completely unplayable CS1 Tsubaki was is considered a crime in some prefectures in Japan.

I'm not saying Bullet is as trash as CS Tsubaki but I feel like the mountain is about as steep.

I just miss the early days of CP with nothing but Bullet steamrolling people and everyone complaining at her over exposure, good times ; -; Just hope there are a few more variables to solve for once this hits home, but at the very least I can steamroll people in the beginning ; w;

My bad, I thought you were talking about that Anime Con footage.

However, my point still stands, and I think this is about the third time we discussed this.

SoBa pls play the character first before in depth qq.

I too, miss the days where there was BURRET as far as the eye could see and many people had a vast assortment of bad BURRET jokes and puns.

I just want Bullet to save the world, is that so wrong!? ; -;

And with more and more recent footage I feel like her own mechanics are her own worse enemy

Bullet's like the Hakan of BB ; -;

I demand that in CP2 she start off in H1 ; w;

SoBa pls play the character first before in depth qq.

But the future is so bleak .__. I guess this is all surfacing because the last time I really saw Bullet kicking ass was when it was on Stylish controls orz

time to scumbag it up online

:psyduck:

Uhh, let's just not judge her viability from how no-name players perform, okay?

Being a "no name" =/= being "bad"

Most of the less featured Bullets preform just fine, but results > effort. "Prominent" Bullets are thinning faster than a middle-aged salaryman's scalp and even they don't have the best results (making all their effort that much more ; -; )

Universally [at this time] Bullet is a bit underwhelming but hopefully yeah things will look up in Oct, I've just been stockpiling vids recently and my heart was crushing under the weight orz

YESSSSSS! It's about time! (I'm with CtrlAltWTF - as far as I know, there's no way to do this in Extend other than to leave the room and rejoin as a spectator. Which sucks.)

Also, sorry SolxB, but Bullet's design is ugly, her moves are boring, and she's no fun for me to watch, so I don't care if she's terrible and no one plays her. ;P

It's okay SxB. I think Bullet is hot as shit, and has the most painful looking distortions.

BTW Do they know a character is going to suck while they're making them? Are they all like, "Yeah, fuck Tsubaki. We're gonna make this bitch little to no damage unless you land a 3C with 100 heat and 5 stocks."

P.S. I like Tsubaki too Airk. I used to play her.

Sometimes I wonder how they can claim to not know. :P Like, most of the characters who are either top tier or low tier in BB can be spotted just by theoryfighting, FFS. (Tsubaki is one of them. So is Hazama.)

Shit, at least you have footage. I have wait until the end of the week to see if Goro felt like making an effort to go to Tachikawa and even then it's a crapshoot because he occasionally gets bopped first round which takes a steaming dump on my mood for about an hour. I can't help but see a Bullet or two in every other video and they win up until some more well-known player takes them out.

Every time I see a name playing Makoto, I always hope that it's one of the hidden 14th-15th dan players with no footage but it's always a newbie and I never have to guess if he is going to get peaced out in a quick 0-2 loss.

So don't fret. If anything, in October, most of the self-proclaimed Makoto players on DL are switching to Bullet anyway. :vbang:

Bullet? Hot as shit? Hahaha, eww...

Also, I fail to see how her distortion hurts more than... let's say Carl's gear super which doesn't looks that bad at all.

ASW knows for sure. There is some definite favoritism they show when picking what characters to buff or nerf (and by how much). I feel it is slightly related to the character's in-story strength too. Hakumen, Hazama, Valk and Azreal come to mind.

Rachel is the one that sticks out as not following this, but she was top tier at one point.

Figuratively speaking.

It's all about dat impact + hitstop, Plus most people sit on top of the gear super while it happens, makes it look like the're getting their back/ass scratched.

Although getting your hand caught in something like a meat grinder would be grusomely painful.

There's no impact or hitstun, though. Everything she does looks like playful roughhousing with a tiny bit of fire.

...I'm gonna stop now before my extreme prejudice rears its ugly head. I was just messing with you anyway.

There's bias but it's not story-related. Otherwise, how do you explain Tao, Bang, Litchi and Arakune in their heydays? Hakumen was only broke in the last two versions as well.
