Here's what her drive is. Kokonoe has 2 drives (which is kinda weird).

The first drive "Graviton" will set it down a bit if one is not already set.

The second drive "Activate" will swap the bit between two modes. When her Graviton bit is initially set it produces a slowing field which will slow her opponents down when near it. She can switch it to a repelling field which pushes her opponent away.

If you notice the lightning and fire icons next to her graviton gauge, there are basically indicators for special moves that interact with her drive and will be different depending on what mode her Graviton is in or if it is even on the field. The flame icon is for her Flame Cage move.

So she basically has Nu-13/Lambchop's Gravity Seed as a NORMAL move? Am I reading this right? Oh but then again, it is likely any normal character can just punch it and it'll die. Oh wait it can repel as well? Well damn, I wonder if that's work on projectiles/bursts? You try bursting and all you end up doing is flinging yourself to the other side of the screen for damage.

I wonder how strong the repel and slow functions are on her drive? That sounds like it could be awesomely obnoxious or meh depending on its usability. I hope the opponent can't just hit the bit and cancel the effects out too.

And here I was hoping that she could have more than one Graviton out at a time. :v: I'm also kind of wondering how she can change bit positions if all of her D moves can changed to Activate once a bit is out. Other than just letting the Graviton burn out.

Oh well. She seems like a space control character, and BB needs more of those. People need to chill with the hatred.

As for more DLC characters, I don't think there will be an more characters at all. They did say that they planned a roster of 26 so I think this is the last character reveal. They also said no DLC characters so I don't know what they're gonna do with Kokonoe.

This goes for Yuki Terumi as well. These guys are probably gonna be unlockable like Mu-12 was.

We have no confirmation on anything, so don't assume. Also, as it has been said time and time again, Mori is a LIAR. A very big one. For all we know they'll make Jubei, Nine, Celica, and Linhua all playable in this version of CP.

Kokonoe being playable has got me thinking of her quotes against Hazama.

Which leads me to the question, how are they gonna handle special quotes against Terumi? Will Ragna, the Six Heroes, Kokonoe and the others have the same quotes against Terumi that they do against Hazama? I assume intro quotes will be different but I've been wondering about battle quotes lol.

took me five hours to find the kokonoe link in this disgusting mess of "ERMYGAWDFINALLYPLAYABLE"

You shouldn't get all your hopes up JUST yet. That humongous tager re-sprite looks implausible, WONKY at best. I seriously don't know how Fumajin will work with a projectile(?) that fills the whole screen.

MoriP has finally stopped trolling!(*) I am especially curious of the icons at the bottom, as which everyone probably guessed by now, means ice and RED. I'm betting that her drive will be a projectile that has a "charge" system, whether it may overheat or require seconds of preparation, which will totally be LOW-TIER. high-tier. I especially love how her name was not typed at all in the previous page.

The quotes against Terumi are probably going to play out just like Hazama, but Terumi WILL have different responses because he's in a different persona. But, they might do a little for more Terumi, since I feel like Arc Sys has a fetish with Nakamura.

Yeah but Tsubaki and Izayoi's personalities are different. Tsubaki is still under Mind Eater or whatever and Izayoi is freed and searching for her justice or something. Makes sense that they would be different. Unlike Hazama and Terumi who are pretty much exactly the same.

Oh so she basically has Akihiko's Caesar pull except it may not necessarily be towards herself. For instance, you might be able to set it up further away from yourself to keep the opponent in a specific spot. I'm drawing less possibilities on the repel function though. Outside of projectiles and maybe bursts (this being very iffy considering how bursts and OD work in CP) I am not sure how repel could be used very strategically.

If she turns out to be a zoner, as in, requiring time/space to overwhelm the opponent rather than getting up close and personal with them, that would be reason enough to use the repel effect.

Besides that, there isn't much that could be said without seeing the move firsthand. However, being part of her drive likely means its going to be very important to her gameplan.

on a serious note, I just need koko to have good pressure and/or mixup so litchi could get the boot.

That's if she's a zoner though. But the rocket punch, wrench and rocket hammer drill speak more of a melee focus, while the freeze raygun (from the screenshot) doesn't cover much range. Only her gatling gun seems to cover the necessary distance. Perhaps she's a sort of hybrid character with a toolbox gimmick. However, nothing is set in stone and actual gameplay>>>>>still screenshots.

If she requires in your face action then ill agree that repel seems very counterproductive. Even still, there must be a reason it's there, included in her drive at that. Perhaps it'll have some interesting properties besides just being a repel.

It could be for corner carry or that type of thing.

Funny you should mention that because I just had the brainwave that when you activate repel, you could alter moves through it. Let's take the Rocket Punch (I assume it is a special). In "Graviton" (pull), it acts as an uppercut. But during "Active" (repel) instead of uppercutting, she can shoot it like dear ol'Mazinger.

Maybe her kit is designed to be something like Mu's. The repel is there to give her space to set up traps and stuff.

I just hate when someone interfere with my movement, so I guess I will hate her drive. I can't stand Tager magnetized moves and I jsut hate when Rachel use her wind to get in with some "unblockables" setups or to fly away summoning everything. Since Kagura is a bit slow character, I will work like hell in order to get in. F..k!

I just want to have this stated again. You guys are doing too much "She should be this, there should be that" which is just filling the thread with uselessness. If you keep just wildly speculating I'll start passing out infractions too.

The post you quoted doesn't really say anything about speculating on confirmed characters, though.

Point taken. Still, keep it gameplay related with what you have. No need to go on about colors, win quotes, her Astral animation, etc. Just giving out a warning.

The thing that people seem to have missed is the screenshot on the bottom right of the second scan. Is she summoning an orbital laser or something? Doesn't seem like a DD to me, so what's up with that?
