Extend mode list.

Characters only have 20 missions in challenge mode each.

Replays and rematches added to VS mode. Replays in VS mode can not be saved if fought against CPU, if VS rounds set to 4 or higher in options or if time is set to infinite in options.

Remix Heart Tour Version is a separate mode entirely from the main story, similar to Teach Me Ms. Litchi.

Abyss Mode now works like in the Vita version of CP. Celica and Lambda specific items have been added.

Lobby reduced to 13 worlds. 2 worlds are designated as being for PS4. Each world still has 10 lobbies with 64 players each.

Player Match details are TBA, there is nothing listed under player match currently.

No info on Xbox One version modes.

Wow, people have only been asking for this since like... SF4 came out.  Amazed someone finally noticed.  Nice feature. Won't sell me the game though.

I'm glad my hypothesis was correct and they decided to add rematches into BB as well.

Probably so two people don't monopolize a room or lobby station; doesn't P4U2 do that as well.

P4U2's rematch feature is offline only. Not sure about how Xrd handles it but in Skullgirls, if you're in a 2 player room, you have the rematch option available to you at the end of each match. That would be the ideal implementation but baby steps I suppose. Maybe they'll improve it with their next game.

Hopefully it's not Xrd style rematches where they load the whole thing anyway.

Wow, actually thats pretty cool.

I mean, for me at least. I play locally with friends a bunch, so its awesome for my play group.

That was the case in P4U, as well, so I doubt they'd fix it now.

The point... it is defeated.

Sadness intensifies. Still I suppose it'll cut out a little time in-between matches.

Looks like the Extend version of CP is tacking on more minor improvements than we got for CS Extend.  If you disregard the inclusion of all the DLC, the only real brand new content being added to the game besides Celica and Lambda are the new story mode bits and some tweaks to existing modes/features.  Everything else is pretty much the same as it was in vanilla CP.  I guess the overhauled gameplay will be enough to get hardcore fans to invest in Extend, but I feel like they're going to have a tougher time convincing the more casual players to make the upgrade.  Given that the majority of players outside of Japan don't seem to care about the games' story all that much, I can see this being an especially tough sell in the US.  Kind of makes me wonder if Aksys will even bother to bring this one over.

How was Abyss Mode different in the Vita port?  Never got the chance to play that one.

They changed the way items worked. Previously you could have 3 items max and items only took up 1 slot. In the Vita version, items had a value or "Cost". Basically you had an inventory size and there are items that take up more slots in the inventory than others. As seen in the screenshot, the Makoto player has a maximum "Cost" (inventory size) of 3.

Interesting.  I guess that's one way to balance that mode a bit and give some of the less useful items greater utility.

Meanwhile, Legion Mode is still nowhere to be seen...

It's an extend version so expecting too much more than this is unrealistic anyways. I don't think there's any doubt about it being brought over though. None whatsoever. Even Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax is coming over. BB is a sure-in.

Also, the majority of the players in the US do care about the story too. There's a lot of story-only people. Don't confuse the competitive people who frequent boards like these for the typical BB player. For every one of us there's like 40 non-serious players who actually play other modes and story and everything...and of course quite a few of us like the story too in some capacity as well.

So I guess Lambda, Arakune, Amane, Hakumen, Koko, Noel, Platinum, Rachel, and Mu are C/B?

> A tier

Notice how Hakumen and a few other characters aren't even there probably due to character limit.

They way it looks like it was made is he made sure there was enough room for S tier and Terumi at the bottom and then added as many names as he could to fill up space until the limit haha. You and Frost Monarch are probably right though.

The return of Hazama.

Unfortunately he has never, ever left...

Something about the new tier list makes me uneasy. Besides nu (which in curious why Dora thinks she's actually a and not s), I wonder just how large the gaps between the tiers are, or will be in the future.
