The bottom line is, a mistake was made calling AH3 something it isn't. Now, things happen, and we all get you on this, people will say things, and I got pretty panicked as well. But this This is not right. "People don't like that title"? Facts are facts and they must stay facts, this isn't a matter of personal labeling or off-handed commentary. This is about staying within professional web-bounds and keeping things straight so they can be relayed easily to other information providers, and maintain credibility. Calling AH3 a doujin game is a mechanical equivalent to calling a motorcycle a scooter. This is nothing like that. What bothers me the most is that you give the impression that we've done something to offend you when nearly all of us offer our support in your other ventures and TheBBVlog related material. If there is a problem, let me know immediately and I'll do whatever I can to help. Just be more careful in the future master cat. P.S. If you mean starting setup at 11, that's always happened. I'm liking the 2-3PM slot for brackets to star because it allows setups, lunch, and casuals to happen before the tournament starts so they don't become a problem for the tourney brackets because people get hungry and leave (Someone ran a tournament starting at 12PM and that didn't go very well). People choked down food and left constantly for eats and that left the event time in chaos because the setup and travel was so early. Also, with the inclusion of AH3 into the mix, later time is an issue; as of now we barely made the cut off of 10:30. I want to run the next month at SJSU so I can get a feel for how long the time will be for those brackets and the streaming schedule, as well as embellish upon the fact AH3 is a new game and that alone will bring people to watch the stream and attend the venue (The Campus Location will also bring in even more people since it'll be the beginning of the Semester, where the workload is light). The layout plan for the CS Club was also edited by me so that it isn't as crowded; main setups will be in the other classroom as well as the streaming equipment this time around, in a similar layout to DeVry. The CS Clubroom itself will host the casuals and other odd games. The positions are basically switched around. Once I get a better idea of how everything progresses next tournament, I'll get back on DeVry depending on the situation, because Game-Zone Recreation was a very good communication partner. I want to actually play games at tournaments, I wouldn't mind heading over for this.

I don't see how the decision of the venue would be in relation to your work schedule given it's time-based, not location...

Yeah, that's what I was referring to. When the game comes out we'll see what format hits nico or youtube in Japan and work from there, I guess. If the game didn't change at all in the Console port, then I'll try to make CRTs a priority. Truthfully HDMI arcana sounds really pretty, though, hahaha. ~Chun

I'm curious what equipment Arcana Heart 3 was run on during its testing, and what it will be run on in Japan. I'm not sure what tournament it was, but I heard people were able to play it at one of the majors the US as well.

Please do me a favor and keep it out of my thread, I'd really appreciate it. Also, on Arcana Heart 3: Myself, Sarsapari, and Tsubasa are confirmed to get copies of the game this month, so we will have 2 tournament setups and a casual setup. However, I plan to keep Arcana up for casuals all of February, and start the tournament much later than most others, depending on the numbers we get. There's a possibility it may be single elimination, but the main purpose it to show you why this game is so much fun, and big in Japan. The biggest concern I have is that we will need at least 2 more HDTVs in the mix if we hope to add this tournament, so if you have an HDTV and register there will be benefits involved.

^Me after this month's NCI. I'm a dog person. That dog isn't dead. Thanks again to everyone who brought equipment, I was very surprised to finish every tournament before the deadline. I'm going to be reworking the schedule for the inclusion of Arcana Heart 3, and there will be a reduced pot entry for that particular game next month, so people can get a feel for it. Also balancing out the pros and cons to this venue, as SJSU will be available next month. I'll make some decisions and update later. k sleep なう。

Given that we need to close up at 10:30PM, I'm going to be a bit stricter about enforcing when the tournament times are. I'm starting them at exactly the designated times, so please, if you want to get casuals in or warm up, get there early or show up on time!

Times updated. Koogy will not be making it to this event for Brokentier, but in March. Unless he really feels like going, because Koogy will go where Koogy pleases.

So I think I'm going to be importing this game. Been playing Kamui most of my life, with Mei-Fang secondary. I'll definitely try out more of the cast though before I settle.
