  1. Greetings Arizona! I'm doing some planning for NCI in March, and I would like to know if any of you would be able to be in attendance if I do something large akin to the NCI in August that was held in Berkeley, CA. This would be either March 5th (The First Saturday of March), or March 26th(The Last Saturday of March). If you're interested in coming down for "Blazing NCI", tell me the date you would prefer and if you would attend if it went through. Thanks, ~Chun
  2. It's at your discretion if you want to put his place up on the public map. This month's NCI brought in 22 BB entrants, AT THE LAST WEEK'S NOTICE. This means with school out I expect a nearly full 32 man bracket, optimistically more. Also, it may not be difficult for me to lock down CS Club again for January after all. There will be people attending to the room anyway, apparently, despite the campus closing. Shadowbrookes may be held off for the March event rather than January because I haven't had the time to work on the negotiations (Sup Finals). ~Chun
  3. How's it going Pacific Northwest? I'm doing some planning for NCI in March, and I would like to know if any of you would be able to be in attendance if I do something large akin to the NCI in August that was held at Berkeley. This would be either March 5th (The First Saturday of March), or March 26th(The Last Saturday of March). If you're interested in coming down for "Blazing NCI", tell me the date you would prefer and if you would attend if it went through, it will help in matching times immensely. Thanks, ~Chun
  4. How's it going Socal? I'm doing some planning for NCI in March, and I would like to know if any of you would be able to be in attendance if I do something large akin to the NCI in August. This would be either March 5th (The First Saturday of March), or March 26th(The Last Saturday of March). 5. IMO, Renai Circulation should be on permanent "OP of the Day".

  6. As for logistics into the future games, I've done a good amount of thinking on it, no worries. It's going to take a test or two but afterwards I think I'll have a pretty solid schedule of sorts that won't be unreasonable. Though I really have to stress the timeliness of everyone in the upcoming months. If I hope to lock-down sponsorships, I won't have the luxury to wait for everyone to show up, as much as I'd like to. Best to start habits early and come an hour before what I usually schedule. ~Chun
  7. I don't see a problem in just reworking the schedule to add the next two games. It'd just take away from the general matches in the tournament and force it to the top 8/4s. Removal of one game is not necessary. ~Chun
  8. Just FYI, I don't know if shadowbrookes is going to accept or not in time, it's going to be 50/50 for next month. I might have them for Blazing NCI in March.
  9. Finals week or I'd actually consider going. Have fun crew.
  10. Some final notes: People left wrappers and food boxes on the tables in the other classroom, and tons of cans and bottles on top of tables in the CS Club. Remember that this is run by the community, not by a hotel or other eating establishment. I don't want to resort to softbanning food away from setups during tournaments. Please clean up after yourselves. This is the second time there's been garbage all over the place. CopperDabbit: You left your remote control for your TV at NCI, I have it, I can either swing by SVGL when you are there or hold on to it till next month, or have me give it to someone. Katamari is a legit game and we should have tourneys for it. See you all next year!
  11. I dropped the results.

  15. Room will be open as early as 11 or 10 AM.
  16. Everything is set tomorrow, the room should be available and Displays hopefully won't be a problem, as I assume that there will be enough that isn't listed on the pre-registration sheet. My only concern is PS3s with BB on them, if you have a PS3 do bring it for the TVs.
  17. Shadowbrookes is currently tentative for January. I just got off the phone and they're not sure if they'll be able to give us a space until later on. However, in the case it does happen, the venue fee will be 4$ + NCI planning (Which I haven't figured out yet) for the January 8th date. I'll keep you all posted . ~Chun
  18. Right, the fee will be increased. It will be 5$ Entry, 5$ a tournament. So no change complaints, lol.
  19. We are CONFIRMED for the 4th of December, at the SJSU Club Room. Please show up on time, I'm readjusting the tournament schedule now. Use the SAME FORM as before on the first page to register equipment.
  20. The schedule is on the first page, lol. It's set for January 8th since New Year's Day people are bound to be super busy (Or Hung Over).
  21. Big plans for January ahead people, look forward to it~ P.S. koogy is an awesome person and you should buy his shirts.
  22. Pretty likely I will yeah.
  23. Operate under the assumption that it will happen December 4th. All officers except for the President have cleared it and I think he'll say yes.
  24. Here's a small thought before I report tomorrow or Friday. December 4th is a time when the campus is open. It is also the last month in which CS club is active before Winter sets in, and the campus is empty for a month or so. It'd be a lot harder to get the CS Club during the month of January until it starts up again in February. I'm thinking we do SJSU this time since the time schedules conflict with everyone and there probably won't be a large turnout at this point so late in the information department. I'd feel bad if Koogy came up December and there were only about the November crew present. Shadowbrookes may be the venue then in January, we'll see how it plays out December and hopefully many will be free, and a lot more people can pay attention to it/make it off school schedule. There will be a lot more advertising time too, and we can hope for a huge turnout. What do you all think? ~Chun
