He always seems to need a Deus Ex Machina to help him after the 500th failure. Hence why I said "plot bending" powers. And he mostly fails against Hazama, whose got the thickest plot armor in the series.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm gonna preorder this (for NA, not desperate enough to import atm) but I'm kinda hoping that they'll do an extended version or find a way to cram in the rest of the Six Heroes before the release. Everyone wants Jubei (duh), Nine would be nice and Trinity >>> Platinum, imo. That said, I wonder how soon we can expect to see footage of these characters in arcades. I'm not really interested in Terumi or Kagura til I can see them in action. I would of prefered either Linhua or Trinity. I love them both, its a shame to be honest lol. Though Kagura still seems pretty cool, but I have no love for Terumi lo..

I don't know about that. For CT, is having to go through 100's of time loops till by chance someone finally saves his arse really plot bending, or is it just the laws of probability? That was Nu-13 as well. For CS; that path only really counted because Terumi got to hack Takamagaraha while they were going "wait, what just happened?" when Ragna beat Mu-12 in one of the many, many, possible time lines. So, that win was really a choice on part of the part of Terumi. So if anything, we need to complain about Terumi's plot bending, not Ragna's. Ragna is more of a chew toy for the other Deus Ex Machinas to act through at this point.

As long as Bloodedge or Torakaka aren't made into playable characters, all will be good with the world. I wouldn't mind a playable Trinity though, it'd be nice to see Trinity use better alchemy magic. JP release date of late October makes for some bittersweet news as it's still a long time away (even more for NA) but that gives them time to add characters that people have really been waiting for like Saya, Jubei, Phantom/Nine, Kokonoe, etc.

I think that that, combined with him being a charge character, warrants comparisons to Guile. (No one knows if Kagura is going to wind up being a turtle though. It's kind of hard to have a true turtle in this game because of negative penalties.) You can definitively have a turtle character on this games, considering that the np values differ between each character iirc, what we can't have is 100% run away, and even then it is possible to have a run away game by being passive aggressive to say it in some way.

This way people can enjoy one game without having to juggle or single themselves out to just one game (purchase). Just my guess, if ACR is just as far or further, then idk what.

What's wrong with 100% runaway? Also some characters can kind of do that already.

Out of the two of them Terumi seems the most interesting to me. Only because his Drive sounds so... awesome to say the least. As for Kagura, well, I personally don't use Charge/Stance Characters, but it's nice to see at least one come to the BlazBlue roster. (My only question is will he be a traditional Charge Character, or will Arc System Works pull some of their magic on him.) ... October... So far... far away...

Both are true, thanks to info on the story being pretty sparse, we don't know how profound the connection between XBLAZE and BlazBlue are, but there have been several key terms that have popped up, as well as the slogan (roughly along the lines of) "another tale involving the Azure" appear in it's trailer. So there's something there, just don't know (how deep the rabbit hole goes)
