no hakumen cannot combo off any of his counters except the character specific 5D.

Damn it. We still have plenty of stuff to work with anyways, it's not that big of a deal.

You mean like a good opponent would duck and not get hit by it? If so, then that doesn't work. The delay is just small enough so that the opponent can tech after you cancel the grab, but not long enough so that they can do anything. I've done it quite a few times before to reset my combos.

You mean you got the timing wrong and your op wasn't paying attention and got hit by the command grab.

What Pachirisu is saying there's no reason not to down hold downback and tech after Noel has already grabbed you. If you whiff command grab you're in for a world of serious hurt. If you're gonna play seriously don't assume everyone you face is a scrub.

Anyways, no aerial tech after 214A~CxN combined with better (How, exactly? Faster?) 214A~B will make 5C's options more interesting. Shame it's probably still easy to mash 5A her out of the dash...if it's fast enough to beat out mashers, though, then wow. Might be possible to do silly things like 6c 214A~B 6a, though not optimistic about that (6c 214A~C~A doesn't even come that close to connecting...). Any idea if 214A~C~A/B were changed at all?

IMO makoto's mix-up is fine as it is. Her main problem is sacrificing damage for oki makes her combos do like 1.5k-2k each while sacrificing oki for damage nets 3k at best and she sucks without her pressure. These buffs are exactly what I was hoping for.

I don't think 214AC(A|B) have been changed. I don't think the A ender is that bad though, and 90% of the time I'd rather end with 2D LV1 instead of the B version anyway.

IIRC in some situations it's hit 3k versus some characters, has more to do with how far they are from you otg and if they're in the corner or not (and damage properties I think)

I don't think I remember saying that his mix up was better because he was from Japan. His mix up was better because he has way more experience.

also iirc zidane has personally "beaten" dacid twice. once at cf and once at seasons beatings sooooooooooo.

imo the guardpoint on hammer is probably a good thing but what would necessitate it being a really useful change is making it so A sledge isnt punishable on IB (if it left him at -5 in almost all cases...). this would mean people wouldnt be able to mash their favorite button after an A sledge IB generally, meaning you have a POTENTIAL for mixing people up after it. meaning he has sort of risky but repeatable pressure.

an interesting change but depending on how it plays out, might be totally worthless or amazing.

edit: hell, making A slege +1 on block would go MIIIIIIIIIIIILES.

How does that work anyway? In terms of increments I mean...

If something is +1 on block, how much reaction time does a person have to do something...compared to +2 or +3 or -1 etc etc.

making A sledge +1 on block would make it unpunishiable on IB. if its unpunishable on IB, you can cover the frame disvantange you would have (their button > your button) with either A driver or the followup to sledge (which will blow through that hit on auto-guard). meaning that A sledge, even if IBed, is a useful tool and on a good read you can keep your pressure (or simply choose to block). also making A sledge +1 on non IB means that if you dont IB it, tager has a blockstring worth half a damn.

First line says Belial Edge's angle got sharper, which probably means more downward of an angle. Not an effective combo option now.

I have no idea what the second one says. You'll have to wait on eirei or another approved translator for that.
