Errol Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 I don't think I've seen n-o use rachel's OD in neutral. Haven't watched enough matches tho.. How is Litchi's OD an instant momentum reversal.
Chaoschao222 Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 How is Litchi's OD an instant momentum reversal. Daisharin's a piece of shit
HoudiniJr100 Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 Daisharin's a piece of shit great wheel still should of been a distortion...
Zeromus_X Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 This is the first thing that springs to mind: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dLgO8t0iusQ&t=4m33s It seems like Litchi just gets to ignore oki and then shift the situation to her favor as long as she has a Burst, which is just a little dumb. This isn't the best example since Litchi OD'd and then All Green'd, but you can see Galileo popping wakeup OD in other vids.
Errol Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 can't really watch at the moment. but basically she activates and it like, puts them in block stun before they can do anything to her or something?
psycofang2 Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 from what i just saw activating OD seems to give her some small invulnerability, to ignore that mu oki. so from theory she could wake up OD> whatever button makes the staff attack the opponent independantly from herself.
Errol Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 OD data is something like 18 frames total recovery, and it is fully invulnerable. But 18f is slow. Most other chars I have seen, if they do wakeup OD, they only get out if their opponent pressed a slow button. If their opponent pressed a jab, then it's just a delay of the oki situation. so it's like, Your od would have to like, enable something that is plus on block and happens while you are in invuln. Or do something while you are in block stun maybe. Whatever, you get the idea.
kodimt Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 But then you add in that, plus the fact that the staff then smacks you. I think that's why it's good.
Zeromus_X Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 That Mu oki was rather loose, I'll need to find a better example, but I swear I'M NOT CRAZY lol. I don't know how soon Litchi can command the stick to attack after activating Daisharin, so I could be overestimating and it's only a thing against non-meaty setups. But having that kind of option seems really good for a char like Litchi, who can just turn things around when she gets the advantage once.
Velvien Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=12thhfjnrDY#t=197s Best example I've seen
Airk Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=12thhfjnrDY#t=197s Best example I've seen Again though, that was...pretty bad 'oki'. It looks like she could practically have just high jumped out of that.
Konflyk Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Again though, that was...pretty bad 'oki'. It looks like she could practically have just high jumped out of that. That's what you think
TD Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 the oki was good and once litchi neutral teched, it was inescapable, minus risky counter assault. wakeup od is simply a pause button highly likely that earliest hit of daisharin = full invul of od + full startup of daisharin attack. daisharin is also guaranteed to come out after a certain frame, probably frame 1-3 after input (no hard data to back this up, but ive watched a ton of videos and fairly confident that this is how it goes) so basically, that oki, while inescapable, granted litchi the obligatory od plus a few frames for daisharin to come out.
FatalCounter Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 I kinda agree with @TD, You can clearly see that during OD, while Ryo did j2C (3 active frames) so OD overdrive nullify Ignis animation but then He did jB (jB has now 10 active frames) so not only Daishiren is fast but I think it gives some invulnerability to litchi because jB would have touched (hit or block) Litchi before Daishiren hit Relius. Unlike Relius where you can use Ignis and block at the same time, that move is very fast, can setup unblockables and have some invulrability, but at least the Daishiren neutral recovery after 1 use is pretty long. So no reset every day.
Tokkan Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 (edited) There is stuff in this week's Famitsu detailing the new online features (like the 64-player lobbies). Also some stuff about the new Teach Me, Miss Litchi. http://gamenyarth.blog67.fc2.com/blog-entry-13763.html 【10/24】[PS3] アークシステムワークス「ブレイブルークロノファンタズマ」 ■オンのマッチング待機中にCPU戦可能に ■ロビー機能 1つのロビーは64人 ちびキャラを操作してBBの世界各地の階層都市ヘログイン ゲーセンのように対戦台を選んで遊ぶことができる テキストチャットあり ■教えてライチ先生がすべてリニューアル フルボイス Edited July 17, 2013 by Tokkan
SolxBaiken Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 64-player lobbies!? .o. Glad they took a page from Bamco, hope it works just as well.
Miracleknight Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 Hopefully that includes multiple matches at one time.
Vulcan422 Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 If it's like SC5's Global Colosseo, expect plenty of people in there chatting instead of actually playing the game. In particular, expect lots of roleplay and asterisks.

Vulcan422 Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 (edited) Uhhh, what... o.o I've never experienced this ever [and can only hope I never will lol] XBL Global Colosseo. I should have clarified. Although from what I hear nowadays PSN is not that much different. Instead of RPers it's whiny scrubs that complain about throws, blocking, and low-tier characters being cheap that dominate the chat. Either way, I'm excited. More test subjects for Relius sex dungeon victims for Azrael table flip. Edited July 17, 2013 by Vulcan422
Kyosuke Kagami Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 "low tier chars being cheap" can't wait to read the izayoi h8, coz "zomg final boss she broken FUCK DIS GAME" Call me elitist, but I prefer my smaller rooms.
