Just thinking about damaging options from each normal is something that has to be considered now, counter hit or not. Now I'm looking forward to what kind of corner game she's gonna have. I swear, if she somehow gets even a semi-lockdown in the corner we won't hear the end of it.

Mizzet Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 Noel * 6C corner bounces. Probably this refers to the second hit of 6c. Sounds good imo, although at/near the corner we already can do 6c (2) into iad j.d and so on, we'll have to see what kind of trajectory the bounce has.
HexaNoid Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 (edited) The corner bounce thing isn't wallbounce it's like they hit the wall then fall down or some shit like that So pretty much the same thing as what her 6C(2) already does, but they can't tech in the air anymore. With the right distance, 5A > 6A > 6C(2) > 66C > Drive Juggle might work and the second hit of 6C prorates positively if I remember correctly. Edit: Looks like it's been confirmed to be wall bounce and not stick. Still, this change opens up a lot of new options for Noel. Edited November 19, 2010 by HexaNoid

I'm really liking this idea, it goes perfectly hand in hand with 6A's ability to hit crouching opponents now too. It's almost like we have 6C B+C back, but it's even funnier to watch and it's most likely corner specific.

Sounds more and more like the way I'm wanting her to play. Along with the system changes to primers on burst, we may have a chance to punish bad bursts with a j.4D start/Assault Through end CR chains for 2 primers. Can't really do it now since everyone has an eternity+ to react to j.4D.

Might even be able to j.4D d.6C 623D depending on if d.6C was buffed or not. might still be too slow to be practical, but if people start getting scared of j.4D 623D it might be something you can train people to bock.

Litchi and Makoto are basically the same as before. Noel's 6A is easily comboed from 5A or j.C. Her j.4D is way too fast, you can barely see it. Her abare and damage increased drastically. 2 GB Combo Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 I'm so glad to hear that her abare was increased, it was so frustrating too take a huge risk with a crappy normal like 5a and and get 2k off of it. Hopefully these changes will stick, Noel players deserve a good character after the shit we went through in CS1.
